I have no problem with this. Hopefullly we get someone who's better than this crap, someone qualified, someone moderate. I do feel that if it's a bad nomination, Democrats will filibuster it. We'll see though...

You never know. I think Dems would grill him over the turrurist torture memos, but they would be inclined to give him a pass. The GOP would be hard-pressed to vote down a Hispanic.
The partisan GOPies would probably prefer Miguel Estrada but I doubt he has the stomach for another battle.
I wonder if Miers' search committee will find a better nominee this time?
