Hardest class you've ever taken?

Sex Education. I just could not get interested in a subject that I'll never use in real life! :|

Actually, the 2nd semester of Electricity & Magnetism was very hard for me -- never really did understand Bode plots too well and just didn't have a good grasp of what was going on. Communication Theory was hard too. It's weird, in the beginning I'm doing really well and then all of a sudden I'm lost -- stocastic processes etc. got me pretty lost. Only got a C in that course.

And in graduate school, all of the graduate level math courses were too hard for me. 🙁

Some class called Computer Algorithm Analysis where we freaking prove why some program runs a certain speed or runs faster than others.

Yes... I dropped the class before I got a F, but turns out more than half the class was failing and the curve let everyone pass. Taking it again Fall quarter!

considering i am bad in science, but am so interested in it, i'll say CHEMISTRY, didin't pass twice, i'll retake it later on. =(

danny~!

It has gotta be computer science for me. I was completely confused in that class. All I got out of it was
something about cout and if and something about loops. Everything else just flew on by me.

I am currently taking Calc III and it is pretty confusing. Too much derivatives and the 3D stuff just gets to you if you can't picture what the hell is going on there. Which is what is happening to me. I have too much trouble picturing what is actually happening with these 3D figures.

I'd say ... go for it! See what the class is like ... If you are good with 3D stuff. Then you will succeed!

today in my chemistry structure and bonding class my prof said "this is a hard class, most of you will fail"

yea im so excited.

*kat. <-- afraid now.

I haven't really had an impossible class yet - I've had classes where it was harder to understand the stuff, and classes where more work was required...I'm worried about AP Art History this year, since I'm not an art person (I'm about as far from it as you can get) but I need my stupid art credit for graduation...

Hardest in what sense?

BTW, hard because the prof sucks isn't hard, it's bad. I had a Linear Algebra class that was "hard" due to that reason. Got an A- when it should've been an A. And I studied my a** off for that stupid class because I had to learn it all from the book, then try to figure out what the heck my retarded prof was after.

Another course that met that requirement was Physics 101: Introduction to Physics. I was a second semester junior and the prof just blew! I had 20 credit hours of math that counted towards a math major/minor and was lost! Prof lectured and stood in front of her notes! WTF is up what that!? Dropped it before it counted though. Thank goodness.

Hard as in amount of work/original thought/conclusions: Independent Study I did in Anthropology on something known as the "Old Copper Culture." It did result in my a published paper in an issue of the Wisconsin Archaeologist. Though for the whole 2 credits I earned it hardly seemed worth it...in hind sight.

Hardest subject matter wise? Tie: Advanced Topics in Calculus: Mutlivariable Calculus; and, Theory of Logic (Philosophy course).

Hardest class was probably Quantitative Analysis 2nd yr university course got 17% first time around.
Sucked at calculus too.

All I can say is good luck, you may need it.
That was a dreaded class around here, mainly cause of the prof.
Do you have other options like theatre/drama, film or something, not music though.
BTW I got 50%.

For me, it's gotta be MFC (Microsoft Foundation Class) programming in C++. First of all, I suck donkey d!ck at programming, and second of all, I thought it was just hard to learn overall.
