I have a feeling this Calc II class will turn out to be it, although I still have another 3 years of college. I am still trying to decide whether to take Calc III or not, as it's a requirement for a minor in statistics, which would go along well with my econ major.

We're only in the first chapter of Calc II, which was somewhat easy, but we're going into the latter stages of the course, and I don't like it one bit :(

I'm only a second year college student so haven't experienced the hard college classes yet. But I'd have to say that my sophmore year in high school. Biology AP. My mother f*%@ing teacher used a book that wasn't available to the class to teach the class. She went online and looked at what colleges were using for biology and used that book to teach us. The books the school gave us were useless. She would give us packets of work based on info that could be found in the book that she had. I guess the hard aspect of it was taking Biology AP with no book, and be expected to know everything that she had in her book. She was fired the next year needless to say.

edit: for me math comes natural. I honestly don't see how it is hard to figure out. I guess I'm lucky that so far the three engineering calculus classes I took last year just seemed to cover stuff the logically made sense. I still have like 6 or seven math classes to go and I'm done with calculus. So we'll see what happens. English and history thats another story.

Similar experience but with a decent teacher. I don't have the aptitude for Statistics. I also had a very hard time with Accounting.

I've taken other stats courses, but *really* disliked this one. He ended up giving a lot of F's and D's (unusual for grad courses where everyone is typically a dedicated student) and no one had any idea how they were doing. He kept insulting us. I worked my butt off and was pleasantly surprised that I got an A. I knew I deserved it, but I thought he might jerk me around.

The hardest class I have ever taken was biochemistry. That class will seriously kick your ass in the face (does that even make sense? ahaha)

although the molecular biology class I am taking right now is pretty damn hard also. :(

My hardest class was probably Art Studio. I'm a BBA student, so art isn't my thing, but this was a required humanities class. It wasn't brain numbing hard, just very work-intensive. I was taking 6 classes at the time, and this art class took up all of my free time. There were nonstop projects. So in the end I get a B+ in the class, while my other grades dip below that.

I currently have a chemistry lecturer who sends me and more than 3/4 of the class to sleep.

The subject isn't hard, but staying awake is murder.

1. Fourier Series solutions of Partial Differential Equations.
2. Numerical methods for Aerospace Applications.

then a large number of courses I have taken in my 6 years in graduate school.

Being a non-native English speaker, learning English as a second language was quite the beotch!
So, those Language Arts classes in elementary school were tough for me. Remember those SRS
packets? I had to do them ALL the time.
The bad thing is that I learned it a little too well, and forgot my first language! :(

I still remember having the toughest time pronouncing "th"

I would say Erf for earth.

Wait till you hit upper division. Calc II might be a transitional class but it's not that hard afterall. At least it's something you can "practice makes perfect".

However, GoldenBear's stupid comments clearly indicates his level of intelligence, which makes sense of why he's asking this question. :D
