My hard drive started making a high pitched noise a few days ago. I used Cinema Craft Encoder for 7 hours straight the day prior and used it for about an hour that day when the noise started. It was really loud at that time. Now it's not's as loud but I can barely hear it and it's in my ears all day even when I'm away from my pc. My system is set up to be really quiet so it's really annoying even though it's barely audible. Anyway, is there a way to replace my hard drive with a new one without buying Windows Xp all over again? Sorry if this is a newbie question but I am a newbie.
