I searched for Memorial, I can't believe there isn't a thread on this. If I missed it, I'm sorry.

It's today (5/30), but it's observed today. What better way to honor the fallen of our country than having the day off and eating ribs.

what is "Happy" about it, really? sure, we should be reflective, but i'm not happy about those who've died for our freedoms. i am grateful, yes.

happy to be remembered? or for their comrades, brothers, fathers, husbands to be remembered and honored?
 
It's memorial day and I'm sick with a cold and have to work tonight - on top of that, my voice is gone :frown: But, at least I can sit here and be sick because of the great people who have faught to make this country the greatest country in the world 🙂
