If that happens, I wonder how long it will take for conservatives to declare that Fox has become liberal and is now part of the enemy?

Depends on the day of the week. 1 day if it's Monday, 6-7 days if this happens on Wednesday. You see, Tuesday is when the talking points folder is distributed by the GOP's handlers out to the monkeys controlling the internet messaging centers. Those guys are usually up and running with the same catch phrases within hours after the weekly talking points folder is released

No, there was more than one commentator from NRO that endorsed the idea of eight justices, only to then find nine justices to be just fine after November.

Please prove that - that columnists on NRO said 8 justices before November and that the same columnists were fine with 9 afterwards.

And frankly, even if they did, I don't see the hypocrisy. I wish we could've remained with 8, but I understood that was a long shot among long shots. Is that to say that I must now and forever rage against the notion of 9 SCOTUS justices? Either be an activist or a hypocrite?

What's crazy is I read MSNBC wants to take over as the right wing news outlet of choice--there is blood in the water and they are coming for Fox!

That might have been a good strategy, ratings-wise, if Hillary had been elected. Assuming that MSNBC could re-image themselves to get conservatives to even give them a chance, anyway. With Donnie in the White House, it's a terrible idea.

FNC's ratings were bound to fall to some degree once a Republican president got elected. Much like the Republicans in Congress, they made their living feeding into people's paranoia and delusions. With Republicans controlling both the presidency and Congress, that just doesn't work as well anymore. They are now trying to portray the 'MSM' in the same way as they did Obama (i.e. an 'enemy' who wants to destroy the country), but it's just not grabbing as many viewers.

And the fact that they are still reporting on stuff like the Clinton Foundation during primetime when other channels are talking about exciting and current Russia spy stuff isn't going to help.

You know, it's almost like the right wing nut house has a giant wheel-of-fortune with a bunch of familiar names on it--several slots are occupied by Obama and Hillary Clinton, and then you have John Podesta, Susan Rice, George Soros, etc. etc. etc.

Every time one of their ludicrous conspiracies is debunked, they just gotta spin the wheel, watch it land on a name, and then latch onto another conspiracy or bolster the existing conspiracy by tying it to one of these "disgusting liberals".

Let's play the game now! <SPIN>....wheeee!!....and we land on...DONNA BRAZILE!!!

ZOMG DONNA BRAZILE ASKED THE FAKE INVESTIGATOR TO BACK DOWN DNC IS GUILTY!!!!

Rod Wheeler is the guy who provided the basis for the story Fox retracted. But he's still building his brand, even if feeding lower in the depths of the right wing "news" cesspool.

Just heard last night that Maddow's show is now the highest rated. That's gotta hurt over at fox.

I like that in the sense that Maddow, for the most part, deals with facts and figures to prove her points, whereas FOX simply throws a constant barrage of bullshit at its viewers in the hopes that most of it sticks. FOX still has the base of Trump supporters to sell their GOP approved BS propaganda to, but that's no going to improve their ratings, or their sponsorships.

Heard that people are asking his advertisers to pull out over this. No idea if it'll work, but at this rate Fox News could be reduced to Shep Smith and the cleaning staff.

At least two of Fox's advertisers are pulling their ads off of Hannity's show. Granted, it's not a lot, but it's a start.

I'm more surprised that there are dipshits out there who believe that "liberal fascism is trying to silence their voice"; completely unaware that it's simple free market principles that are causing advertisers to pull their support from Fox.

Good. The last hope and the only thing that seems to matter to Republicans is money. Vote with your wallet. It's last bit of power we have.
