The show is just bad and it wasn't really all that good to begin with. First season was passable but it just goes to shit from there. Fucking horrible writing and even worse characters.
Unless you just have a huge hard-on for stand-in butts and boobs with occasionally some celebrity showing one or the other, I really don't know why you'd watch this show, and for that just watch clips people put on Youtube and elsewhere and save yourself the time.
It's like they took the super awkward situation formula from Nip/Tuck and then completely removed all sense from the characters and most of the real outrageousness. There's very little real motivation for almost every action from every character that isn't just contrived to give them a reason to make awkward scenes. And there's no actual consequences for Hank (or really any of the other characters although they don't even do much compared to Hank) constantly continuously fucking over everyone in his life. If they'd actually have come up with decent characters or a fitting setting, I think it might would be an ok guilty pleasure show (something along the lines of True Blood, which this show basically is if you remove the vampire angle). Not good but like I said a guilty pleasure. But because they didn't it just highlights how ridiculously terrible it is. They constantly hang things like money problems, jail, personal injury, and other things but they never actually follow through, oftentimes it's resolved 2 seconds later by basically them just going "eh, let's just drop it". For instance, a minor one, I remember one episode where he got his ass kicked by several guys outside a strip club and had a huge cut on his ribs and some other problems. A scene like 5 minutes later and no sign of any harm at all. Things like that happen pretty much every single episode, while there's also a major overall storyline for the whole season that gets similar treatment (they build up to it and then just wipe their ass with it).
The show would be a billion times more interesting if they'd just made Hank into some god or something and he's just playing in a sandbox and has the power to reset it. That'd at least explain how none of the characters ever change and keep letting him do the same shit to them.
Watch the first and last episodes of the first season and that's all that this show was ever going to offer and the best it was going to be. It would have made for a decent 1-2 hour long movie, unfortunately it's been padded out into 40-50 hours worth of bad TV.
