How about we work to have Israel and Palestine hold secure border between each other? That is a workable solution much like what exists between South Korea North Korea today, and is just what the world has been calling for over decades, while our government backs Israel's conquest over what little is left of Palestine instead.

The ceasefire began at 2AM (local time) January 18th. Israel broke the ceasefire on the 18th and the 22nd. I can repeat it more slowly if needed.

The unilateral ceasefire of offensive activities against Hamas began at 2AM (local time) January 18th. Israel defended herself on the 18th and the 22nd. I can repeat it more slowly if needed.

An Islamist group affiliated with Al-Qaeda calling itself the 'Jihad and Tawhid Brigades'

and

The IDF believes that the cell behind the attack is an extremist pro-Iranian group, which espouses a militant ideology that surpasses even Hamas' positions in its opposition to Israel. The group receives direct support from Tehran, but is connected in various ways to Hamas as well.

The army says that even though the attack was executed by this group, Hamas was involved and at the very least gave its consent to the plot.

Who knows what's up in this wacky world but I have my doubts that the 'Jihad and Tawhid Brigades' receive any support from Tehran because these yahoos appear to be devotees of the Muslim Brotherhood.

And there are 2 much more likely 'supporters' (who are our 'allies') who would be more likely to support Sunni extremists associated with AQ and the Muslim Brotherhood....

Why can't they expropriate the Palestinians out of there using legal means, and compensate them well? With the amount of money wasted on this conflict, I'm sure they could take the whole lot of them from being impoverished to being wealthy. Perhaps offer them money to leave, and if some of them don't take the money, then let them stay.

I'm a friend of the former Israeli embassador to Canada's daughter. Her comment to me was that the two sides hate each other too much for there to be a legitimate chance of a peaceful solution to the conflict. I say just solve it with money instead of bombs.

Just as an aside, didn't Britain legally own the land that they gave to the Jews during WW2? Why are the Palestinians so upset? If their land was unfairly stolen from them, why not apologize, compensate them, and move on?

The money spend on all those bombs and such goes into the pockets of a few elitists, not a bunch of Arabs, and most of those elitists are too narcissistic to even understand how they are perpetuating this conquest.

And there is a legitimate chance for peace no matter how much both sides hate each other, all we have to do is cut Israel off from the means to continue expropriating what little is left of Palestinians, at which point those elitists will be forced to focus on securing Israel's boarders rather than expanding them.
