Hamas got what they deserved..... that is all. /thread

That's not the point...the point is, now Israel will likely get it, deserved or not. In this instance, violence perpetuates violence.

Palestinians cry Gaza is a prison to them. Fine. Palestinians can go into the desert or the sea. Israel should level Gaza and start over. Hamas is not the government of Palestine. Yassin is not the moral equivelaent of the Pope. Israel will deal (and rightly so) with any and all terrorist attacks in the name of revenge for offing Yassin. If it smokes the ratbastards out in the open, good. I hope the Israeli's kick ass and take names.😀

Breaking News
Hamas spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin has been killed in an apparent Israeli attack on his car, Palestinian sources tell CNN.
There's gonna be some sh1t in Israel tomorrow...

we need 2 states, but first we need people not dedicated to driving the Jews into the sea. If that can't work we should stop being involved.. but if you can give me another option i'd love it.

The world is a little better with this guy's body blown into about 45 different pieces.

You really think so? This will do nothing but make him a super 'martyr'. Great for Hamas propaganda. Israel just did this guy a favour.

Someone even worse than him will likely replace him, and tit for tat violence will continue to spiral as it has been for years.

Violence will never solve violence.

Good riddance, about time this murdering bastard is dead. The only people that followed him were the terrorists in Hamas. It can't make them try to kill more that they were already trying. Sure, they will blame everything now on Israel taking him out, but they were already trying to kill as many Israelis as they can.

Violence will never solve violence.

a lesson that Hamas and all other terrorists organizations will always fail to learn.

Well, I think that is the aim of these terrorist organizations. They want to use violence to create chaos, disrupting the order of things.

I know that Israel is between a rock and a hard place when it comes to how to deal with terrorists, but the current strategy of targeted killings and such haven't been very fruitful for them. As long as there is the occupation, I can't see how things will change anytime soon.

I think the occupation will have to end before the terrorism will. I don't think you can have it the other way around unfortunately.

Maybe you're right. But I don't see how rewarding terrorism by giving them what they want will then make it stop.
On the contrary, it makes it a legitmate means to a political end.
