Yes, because Israel's killing of this bastard, who's got the blood of hundreds of women and children on his hands, is exactly like Israel building gas chambers.

Zephyr, it's spelled Israel. Apparently you have much to learn young one.

It doesn't matter how it's spelled. And I take offense to your patrionizing. Typical liberal tactic.

A few Zionist immigrants had already started arriving in the area before 1897. By 1903 there were some 25,000 of them, mostly from Eastern Europe. They lived alongside about half a million Arab residents in what was then part of the Turkish Ottoman Empire.

Maybe Israel should give some land back?

😀

Precisely what I thought.

I would think there will be an increase in bombings short term, some protests, and back to the bloody business as usual.

You called me a liberal? There is more for you to learn than I first thought, you don't have a clue.

Yes, good riddance to this guy. But I agree with replicator, until the occupation ends there will be no end to the cycle of killings.

Were there killings and suicide bombings by the palestinians when Egypt and Syria occupied their land? Why not?

meh, just another day in the ME...

And you're telling others they have much to learn? Apparently you don't know enough to know that people tolerate homegrown dictators much more than they do foreign ones. Thus palestinians may tolerate occupation by an arab country, but not a jewish one.

Some palestinians did protest when the Egyptians and Syrians occupied. But their occupation was an attempt to defend the palestinians and wasn't permanent.

So it's not the occupation per se, but the fact that it is Jews.

Got it.

more importantly, many *if not most* think that ANY land the Jews have is 'occupation';

No, its the fact that they're foreigners. You'd know it was the same with the British if you were interested in looking at things objectively.

And here's the shoking (for you) part. Its not just the palestinians, its *gasp* everyone that does that! Why the fsck do you think the Russians never did anything against Stalin, but fought like wild against Hitler?

Will things possibly get better when Sharon and Arafat both die, or are the two countries destined to be at heads with each other for our lifetimes?

Hurrah! Good riddance.

uh this will perpetuate on within a week and there will be at least 50 people dead. I dont see how that solved or even impreved the situation at all

in the short term this is going to result in more and more deaths on both sides, this is all about retaliation
in the long term its impossible to see what will happen, either good thing because this guy is a symbol for hamas, or a bad thing that the short term is going to be so bad that it wasnt worth it

A lot of good it will do. I'm sure there's some wild eyed koran waving Wag waiting in the wings to take his place and another and another!

Because they consider the Isrealis as "MIddle Eastern Americans".

CNN TV is reporting that Hamas is threatening retaliation against the US.

"The Zionists cannot have carried out this act without the approval of the U.S. administration, which carries the responsibility for this crime," the Izzedine al Qassam statement said.
