If Hamas would quit killing innocent Israeli citizens with all the suicide bombings then the Israelis would have no reason to lash out at Hamas. But yes it does have to stop, and it looks like the only way it will ever stop is if the Israelis kill every last one of Hamas.

then why is Sharon still alive? he orders attacks on palestinian militants, that end up killing innocent civilians in the process. he's every bit as much a criminal as the rest of em.
so if Hamas had explosives from US manufacturers, afterall it is American made missiles that Israel uses, and the backing of Daddy Bush in Washington, then it would be ok for them to kill civilians?

I believe that people who advocate the tactic of suicide bombing civilian targets should no longer be regarded as a civilized human beings, and should be exterminated like the cockroaches that they are. Hamas fits nicely into this category.

maybe because so many have been forced out of their homes. Unforuntely Americans have never had the special experience of being forcibly removed from your home, told to take what little you can carry, then watch in the distance as it is bulldozed.
Actually many over the course of American history have, but to my knowledge none of them turned to terrorism.

my opinion is that both sides are scum. I'd like to see Israel start playing fairly though. I'm sure there would be Israeli's ready to sacrifice their lives to blow themselves up for their great nation. Why use pussy missles from a distance. For these people, it's PERSONAL

So on which side are the cockroaches? I'm somewhat new to the whole scenario but the way I see it is that Israel is pretty much being a d*ck about things. Last count that I saw was that Palestinian losses were about 3500 to the Israeli 500. Who's doing more of the killing?
If I was a Palestinian, being driven from my land, kept from earning a living by a wall and constantly harrassed at security checkpoints, I too might see a point at which I would want to strike out in any method I could. I don't have tanks, missles and helicopters provided by superpowers, but I do have a portion of the population so fed up with the way they are being treated that they are ready to lay it all on the line with a 20 pound belt around their waist. Sure that guy is getting on a bus to get his point across but this is their only available tactic to defend themselves. Watch the video, they throw rocks at tanks for God's sake! What Israel is doing isn't excusable either....they can just go about murder in a more elegant manner...
Where's the love, compassion and understanding? Reverse the roles, make Palestine the more powerful of the two and would you expect Israel to do anything different? Lay down and be passive with anything they are given? I think not. Israel needs to look in the mirror and honestly admit that their actions aren't all above reproach...
So how are the Palestinians supposed to responed to Israeli's air strikes. Should they just bend over and hope they stop at some point?

OK so how about I break into your house, you have no weapons to defend yourself, I start knocking you around, watching your TV, eating your food, and generally show you no respect. This goes on for about 50 years. And oh yea, you can't come out of that small closet I keep you in...I don't care if you have to go to work. Now how long will it be before you think about grabbing that old dusty bowling trophy off the top shelf in the closet, storming out into the living room and knocking me over the head with it?
And who would be right in this scenario?
