i think Im going to buy the LE (if they have any) at walmart tomorrow, from what I can tell, they're giving out some free loot when you purchase it, like a lighted Halo 2 pen, strategy guide, etc

Haha the girl at Wal Mart gave me the Limited Edition one for the price of the regular, so that worked out. I can't find the covenant bomb on the very first level though.

Back from the 12:00 opening at Best Buy where I had my preorder. Snagged a Halo 2 hat on top of my Halo 2 t-shirt for being one of the first 100 buyers. The Master Chief made a showing in his Hummer H1, as did some babes from Microsoft. But for now, pics of the merchandise.

1) The outside case. Kind of awe-inspiring...
2) The case again, slipped out of its protective plastic shell.
3) Contents of the Limited Collector's Edition.

To answer one popular question: It seems that EVERY copy of Halo 2 (regular or collector's) comes with 2 months free of Xbox Live. More pics and caps in the morning.

GOD DAMN THIS GAME IS AWSOME, im on level 8, i think, the 8th one listed under select level anyway, weapons are badass, story is cool as sh!t so far i have no idea WTF is going on but its damn cool, music is amazing as usuial, the graphis are insane

Dual wepons is crazy, and the new covenent weapons kick ass

the controller it works sweetly, and im not spdnfing 30$ on the KB/mouse thing when its not needed
