I was thinking about buying a regular coke and a decaf coke and combine the two to make half-calf. Because I like to drink coke while I game but too much caffeine late at night is bad. What do you guys think about all that?

I think you should just take weed, mix it with crack, add a dash of angel dust and a pinch of acid. ;)

Drink water. Soda's supposed to be a treat, and its become a primary beverage. That's why you can't walk anywhere without feeling like a sailboat in a shipping channel.

Not a soda drinker here, but I thought diet coke had just as much caffeine, but less carbs through the use of sugar alcohols? Isn't it only like 50mg or so? You might be able to counteract the insomnia by getting up off your ass instead of gaming...

This. Drinking too much pop isn't good for you. Not only will it not quench your thirst, you'll feel tired in an hour due to the sugar crash.

Try just drinking cold water with a squirt of lemon juice in it for flavour. Club Soda is fine too.

just sprinkle it with that blue crusty stuff that forms on car battery terminals. It will give it that extra kick.

Regular and decaf coke taste VERY similar. I mix them occasionally. It's the least important thing I can think of.

I knew a guy that would mix half coke with half water. It may have been pepsi but you get the point.

meh...I switched to Coke Zero and other "Zero" products over a year ago. It's VERY rare that I ever have a "real" soda anymore. IMO, Coke Zero tastes MUCH better than diet Coke.

True, but it almost has a Dr. Pepper hint of flavor. I hate how these sugary drinks switched to corn syrup and then sugar substitutes....I'm now to the point where I'll drink an occasional coke, but don't really care for them as much as I do Sprite or Sierra Mist or 7up types of drinks. I don't really like those that much, but seem to tolerate them better than the colas.

If you drink a lot of diet drinks exclusively, you train yourself to tolerate them. If you cut them out for a few weeks and try to drink them, it takes a while to get used to them again... Aspartame doesn't exactly have a good flavor.

Still has caffeine though, doesn't it? So not really much help to futurefields?
I'm still on board with John Connor's first suggestion, honestly.
