It's really good stuff. Leave it in for a few minutes and your hair becomes silky smooth. IMO, it's much better than conditioner.

I didn't mean to brush you off. You just use it like conditioner then? Rub it in, wait a while, and wash it out? Does it have a horrid stench like eating mayonnaise? Do you have to put other gunk in your hair to cover the fetid raw egg smell? How did you get started on the hair mayonnaise?

Gosh, we used to do that back in the hippie 60's. You put mayonnaise in your hair, let it set for a bit, then wash it out really really well. It DOES make long hair smooth and soft and silky, really works.

It also is the best thing I've ever used for split ends.

If your hair is close to being soft and silky, a short time works. If your hair is farther away from soft perfection, leave it on a long time.

I can guarantee you that the way this was discovered was by somebody cooking, with children, who got mayo in their hair (all parents will nod their heads here) and discovered that it worked.

BTW if you have oily hair to start with, beer works better.

You can, if you're nuts, buy both beer shampoo and mayonnaise shampoo/conditioner.
