This could definitely affect TallBill's business. Hell if he could see it from the 3rd story window, then imagine how many people could see it driving by or into the restaurant's parking lot. Because smoking pot is still taboo in American society, it coudl've turned away possible regulars that could spend thousands of dollars a year.

And around where I live, bars are becoming more and more responsible for patrons who drive drunk. At the restaurant I work at, we have the right to refuse serving patrons more then a few glasses of wine or beer because we can be held responsible.

What's so difficult about doing it at home on your own property?

I remember one dumbass I went to school with, he was smoking pot in the lobby of the roller rink that used to be up here. The staff called the cops on him, and he was still smoking his joint when the cops showed up. The smoke was rather thick in the lobby by then, and the dumbass puts the lit joint in his shirt pocket, then proceeds to try and ignore the burning spot spreading on his shirt when the cop turns around and looks at him.

Years later he shot one of his eyes out with a BB gun. He was smoking pot at the time. :p

On second thought I can't believe that anybody here is condemning a guy for reporting on consumption of pot on his property. It's that simple.

Smoking anything and drinking are both bad. People do it to fit in or to relax but I can think of other ways to accomplish those 2 things...

tallbill did the right thing.

you want to smoke pot? fine then do it at home. NOT on a business's property. If you do then you should expect to get caught and maybe arrested.

I have no trouble with someone lighting up at home. heck i think it should be legal. But have some respect and keep it at home.

I have no problem with what TallBill did.

Think about it. They were only caught because they were being dumbfucks. They could have just smoked it somewhere privately, but they decided to light up in plain view. (I say plain view because someone 3 stories up could tell they were smoking pot).

You are an idiot.

It very much is his business because he works there. It's private property. What would you do if some random teenagers strolled up to your front porch, had a sit, and started smoking pot? Would you go out there and at least ask them to leave? Probably not. After all, it's none of your business!

Also take into account TallBill is an MP and that he was standing with his boss. Not doing something about it probably isn't an option. :p

TallBill you did the right thing in my opinion as well. You're at a place of business where the idea is to attract customers, not a damn college frat party. I am sure the scent coming from their clothing is a real draw for the patrons too...NOT.
Most of the naysayers are undoubtedly still living with mommy and daddy and know nothing of how the real world works.
