You guys are assholes. The guy is trying, but I have to agree that Best Buy couldn't care less about his college curriculum or grades. He sounds like a whiney little bitch who wants a job when there are 500 other applications in front of his. Most of them are likely Masters or Ph.D.'s with 4.5 gpa's and 20 years of experience.

There are two obvious answers
1 - he's joking
2 - he attended a fake school like university of phoenix

I won't say it's impossible to get an A+ or 4.x in every single class, but it's extremely unlikely. Are you saying you're the top student or maybe second from the top in every single one of those classes?

If I saw that on a transcript, the application would go in the garbage. Either you're the smartest person in the entire world and you just happen to beat every student in every class, or you attended a fake university that gives everyone a 4.0 just for paying tuition.

I have two B.A.s from Michigan State University and an M.A. from Central Michigan University. I am pursuing a fourth degree at American University. Where did you fail your classes?

So.. you're a professional student?

how much does that pay?

If I were lazy and didn't want to ever grow up, I would just go to school the rest of my life too.

Career college students are too afraid of the real world to ever leave college.

$0 but an infinite supply of fresh pussy. Having arts degrees means his classes are probably 90% women ;)

So you're "in the hole" in more than one way? Great, how many of my tax dollars are you stealing in this elaborate panty raid you call "school"?

Heh... at Best Buy? Your typical applicant there would be more likely to be high school/tech school/2 year DeVRY certificate grad with a 2.5 GPA and less than 2 years actual technical experience.

The only real skill you need at Best Buy is to scam people into buying extended warranties and Monster Cables.

Come to think of it, this applies to high school as well. One of my friends was a football star and all he did in school was pick up random bitches :D

Public high school is about 10k per year. Public university is subsidized anywhere from 10k to 20k per year for people going to university in the same state. It's subsidized even higher than that if you live in Canada or parts of Europe.

Now you're just trying to get under my skin. Good thing is, all of my income is paid with tax dollars. I have no degree and will make about $90k this year, how does that make you feel?

I'm fine with it. One of my class mates from grade school makes about 90k per year as well with no education, but it's because he works 12-14 hour shifts in a far north town with few women something like 10 days on then 2 days off. It's horrible. That's one of those cases where your life revolves around work.

Yeah, not me. I work 80 hours every two weeks with every other Friday off.

As a hiring official, I would probably not consider you for employment with so many degrees. It raises questions about your ability to integrate into a workplace and actually do something.

???

Why would it show that? Having lots of education that covers a broad range of topics shows that you can learn damn near anything. Good at math, good at art, good at writing, etc. The only negative is that it looks indecisive; this person might quit after a year then go do something else. It's also bad to hire people that are too intelligent because they tend to get bored quickly.

It does depend on the degrees. If you have a BS, MS, and PhD in Engineering for example, that shows a nice progression towards a goal. Without knowing more details, it is hard to say for sure; at first glance, however, two BAs, an MA, and a fourth degree in progress doesn't sound particularly encouraging and screams "professional student" like others have said.

My parent couldnt afford to send me to university thats for sure

For your 1st degree, it's customary for your parents to cosign a loan (you'll try a hell of a lot harder to pass when it's your money on the line). It's also customary for university people to be poor as fuck and work a part time job.

Just for curiosity I checked what it costs to attend university of washington since that's one of the states closest to me. $8701 yearly after all of the fees and everything.

Simply put, you are over qualified. If they were to hire you, they would have to pay you for your worth, and IMHO they will not do it in your case. In fact, they are looking for much less of a person they can push around for dang near minimum wage.
