For the record, mouse behavior seems more sluggish/problematic under 10.5.6 as well.
And the password issue STILL isn't fixed. That is, password on awake from screen saver doesn't work (goes straight back to desktop) on a cold boot. If you log out, and log back in, it works.
No clue what's up with that, but I don't think it's a hack-specific issue. Anyone want to test this?

Confirmed on my UD3P:
1. Password for Screensaver does not activate on Cold Boot
2. Password for Screensaver DOES activate if I log out, then log back in again, THEN activate the screensaver
Anyone with a real Mac handy care to test this?

My GA-EP-35-DS3L was working great until I took it upstairs tonight. I booted it and somewhere between Darwin kicking OSX off to the switch to graphics mode, my CPU halts. I can't think of anything that would cause this software wise (I did install eyetv, but surely that can't be it.) At first I thought it was the crummy wiring upstairs, but after taking the machine where it was that is not the cause. Does this sound like a PSU issue? I bought a Xigmatek and they are supposed to be solid. Maybe its the 8800 GTS. Anyone have any ideas? I need to sleep on it tonight before I make bad decisions.

For those of you with MSI Wind PC (the desktop) is sleep working?
I a not able to get sleep working. Also my ethernet won't run at 1000X speed, it only works at 100X or 10X. As far as I can tell everything else is working. But the main thing I would like to get going is the sleep function to work.
My Bios is 1.07.
I have tried the following different install methods, MSIWindx86.iso (10.5.4); Kalyway 10.5.2; and weaksause12's wind kit (which I believe was for the netbook version of the MSI Wind).
With the weaksause, method, I am able to get to 10.5.6 fine. Using the 950 driver that comes with this windkit, I can only do 1024x786. When I do sleep, everything shuts down but the display and everything else wakes up when I touch the mouse or keyboard.
So replaced the 950 display driver that came with the kit with a different Intel GMA950 driver. 1. to more display options. 2. hopefully to get sleep working.
I get more resolution options. But now when I put the system to sleep everything goes to sleep. I get an amber light and everything is quite. But when I push the power button to wake everything up, the display remains black. Also I expect there are other symptoms as I can't ping the machine either.
So if anyone who has sleep working on their machine could tell me what they did to install or where they got their drivers, I would be a very happy camper.
Thanks.
