Yea it sucks, I've lost just over 7k computers today alone due to attacks. Building up my defenses now

I've been solely building up my defense since the past 2 days I've gotten raped with no lube whatsoever but now I'm getting hit by guys in the top 25 and it's impossible to protect against them.

How did you get so many machines. I had level 8 virus since this morning, and I only have 18k =\.
 
Make the message you have a little more specific - update it fairly regularly. If someone has a message like yours, it might make me look elsewhere the first time I see it. But, if it's the same message 24 hours later, I'm going to assume that your vault hasn't been updated either.

pssst, I upgraded vault again, coco, hence you won't get more credits from me! (see how my kbps dropped from 80th to 264th)

If you were coco, and saw my bandwidth dropped dramatically, would you attack me again? He nailed me 3 times & got lucky/perfect timing 3 times. Everyone else has gotten 0 except him.

(Thank god he didn't nail me when I had over 2 million credits available though)

But, I think that might convince him not to attack again. And, anyone reading it is going to also see that my bandwidth is quite low & realize that I might be a big risk.

Just sold pretty much everything to get the level 6 virus. The good news is that I have a higher-level virus... the bad news is that my stats suck and I'm poor. 🙁
 
I'd like someone to test out another spreadsheet. It extracts all the ranks at once so it involves less copying and pasting. There is some initializing that has to happen by hand, but in general it's probably less work than YoYo's spreadsheet. Its also bare bones, so there is more hands on required for managing data.

PM me your email addy if you want to try it out. After a bit of testing I will post it up for whoever wants it.

The spreadsheet uses web queries to extract data from the website. However, since the hackcess website uses php, I haven't found a good way to fully automate the web query (i.e., Every so often you have to log in manually to be able to get behind the overview page. ) However, logging in and editing the initial query takes no more than 30 seconds.

Deep down in side the spreadsheet uses YOYOYO's algorithms. The spreadsheet calculates the difference between a player's rankings at Time1 and Time2 (you set the interval... I've had success with 1 click, 2 click and 3 click intervals).

Last round of attacks I netted the following:
