My last 8 hours of attacks yielded me 747012 credits.

I don't think I could have done that today with 43520 credits in gains from upgrading my virus->kbps, then farming lowbies.

Now, your strat has risk, mine has none. I can't get attacked and lose my ability to make money, my kbps is safe. I also keep a lower profile in the start because my overall rank isn't inflated vs. my ability to strike higher targets. Remember, I'm talking short term gains.

I realize virus will likely win in the long run, I'm at the point where I want to change my strat now to a more balance approach.

Ok, so this guy has been attacking me randomly all day. I decided that the next time he attacked me (and got nothing each time, btw) that I would attack him right back. Turns out my strategy has worked. The last two times he has attacked me, I have attacked him immediately and both times I scored 70k each. He hasn't attacked me since

I guess he was trying to save up credits but he ended up losing them

Basically it lists the last 10 updates and show the ranking changes during each update. If the change is greater than 10 spots, it highlights that entry.
The streak box just shows the number of updates the person has stayed at or dropped in rankings.

I'm in EST +8 so the time might be little weird.
