H2O blocks for 7800

ive heard of danger den but not the other. anything from newegg would be best. i dont feel much like maken another account w/ another site.

I wouldn't recommend the zalman block, as it has 3/8" fittings and only covers the chipset. If your don't mind spending a little extra, I'd go with this: Danger Den 7800 block. If that's too expensive, they have others. I would definetly not buy a water block off of newegg, and I suggest danger den.

I think DD has low profile Maze4 blocks that are rated for SLI. You may have to start that extra account if you want something nice. 😉

Definately the Danger Den Maze4 or the Silverprop SX over the Alphacool.

1. Silverprop Nexus SX/LX, ~$50
Pros: Excellent performance, good construction.
Cons: Pricey as it is produced in Australia.

2. Danger Den Maze4 Chipset, ~$40, or $46 for brass top
Pros: Good performance, cheaper than the Nexus, less pressure drop for 1 gpm flowrate.
Cons: Brass top costs more, making the Nexus more appealing.

3. Swiftech MCW20, $40
Pros: Cheaper than the Nexus.
Cons: Anodized Al top (may or may not be an issue for some), worst performance of the three, need adaptors for 1/2" tubing.

Contact Viper John over at Xtremesystems.org. He has some nice waterblocks for sale that will work with SLI and the monster ramsinks that he sells. The waterblocks are nice because they exit of the back of the card instead of the side (or top I guess) like the Maze4 blocks do.
