Once I see someone using the smart pistol in a match, I usually start throwing the sactel charges at anything that moves in close combat.

Yea I keep satchels with me and do the same thing with titans and especially when pilots jump out of nowhere. You can tell it's a pilot from them jumping around like crazy.

Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, Respawn recently said that they'll bring things like HBAO+, TXAA, and 4K resolutions to Titanfall.

I'm almost level 40 now. Been playing an hour or so whenever I get a chance. I'm trying to see if the other titan weapons have upgrades.

FINALLY got the PC version today. Staples takes forever to ship their products. Playing with a 7850. Anything I should do regarding drivers or anything for this game? Can't wait. Beta was so fun

The game itself is fairly low impact, so you shouldn't have to do anything special. I don't know if AMD has released drivers yet that specifically target Titanfall.

I have it all maxed out. Using the latest amd beta drivers. There are some tweaks via a command to enable cpu usage to high. I think it was a Google search I did for that link but I don't have it on me at the moment.

What they haven't said is that this will boost the size to 120 GB. 😛

TitanFall, The 4K Dreamer Edition

My origin name is drbrock0628 if anyone wants to play later. First game on Origin so I am basically doing a "forever alone" montage right now.

I'll add you I don't have any origin friends except one other person here. I don't have a Mic for pc though but you don't really need it for this game.

Still haven't bought this game. Been following this thread. 2 questions:

1) People still enjoying this game - think it has lasting appeal?
2) I have 55 GB left on my SSD. I could uninstall BF4 and have plenty of room, or throw this on my 1 TB HDD. Will load times be a lot slower on HDD? I like BF4 on the SSD, always the first in a map.

My thing is, does being first on a map matter? I haven't played BF4 or Titanfall but CoD and Halo have always had timers before a round starts. If that's the case with Titanfall, being first on the map is pretty pointless, no?

Not sure what you mean by first one the map? To me it seems everyone gets on the map at the same time, on opposite sides.

there's a 90 second lobby time and then there's around a 30 second load time to allow everyone to get connected before spawns actually occur

Exactly. The guy above me said that he likes that having BF4 on an SSD makes him the first one on the map. However, if there is a timer to let everyone get in, I don't get why that'd be a plus. I guess the game opens faster (meaning you get to matches faster), but I personally don't think I'd care about putting games on a SSD unless they were load-and-play games like getting into a campaign or MMO.
