There is definitely something of substance to some making threads that are intended to lambaste their vendor of non choice. I don't think the [H] article is malicious and believe he genuinely had some game-breaking issues that need driver fixes for crossfire.
Of course once again some want to drag in amd vs nvidia to the conversation ?

Not sure why, as both companies have driver issues when it comes to multi-gpu scaling. AMD happens to be the ones with some right now. I remember getting raked over the coals for being pissed about nvidia taking two months to fix not just DA2 scaling, but DA2 period. The constant need to make these comparisons in every thread where one or the other has an issue is just going to fuel the fire. Expect plenty of flames when nvidia finally manages to release a 28nm card and you see the issues with that launch getting pointed out.
I guess one might wonder when someone raises a stink and the issue does not even pertain to them though...
I was very disappointed in DA2 being broke with DX11. I thought it was just 1 month though. Either way, I bought the game and wasnt a happy camper. waiting for nvidia to fix it wasnt cool.
As far as starting this thread,
What is the problem? The article was news to me. I mean, this is what we do. If you dont agree with the article then feel free to speak on it. We read articles and discuss them all the time. It seems on this occasion some ppl here dont agree with the article but want to go after the OP instead. I found this interesting.
Reading through this thread i seen several ppl having specific CF issues on individual games or what not. Apparently, this article has meaning and is a topic of relevance to some here. I also have seen ppl who are completely satisfied with their CF experience. This is fine. In this thread both sides are free to speak their minds, free to discuss their issues or lack there of. Its an opportunity for a community to get together over a common topic, this one being the 7970 CF.
So back to the OP. he couldve used this article to spin an agenda. He couldve posted negative bias and yet he did nothing of that sort. I mean there is so much that the community could gain from such a topic but there are ppl here who try to make information evil. Its just information, current and valid. Some may not want to see this information, but it is very valid.
For those who see all negatives, its not always so. [H] is an important site and they believe speaking out was necessary. Obviously he isnt out to get AMD, its most likely the reverse. By speaking out, AMD will have to take note. He is only trying to pressure them into making the 7970 CF even better. As the word spreads, so does that pressure. I mean, anyone who doesnt get that out of the article needs to rethink it again. Its not about AMD hate, its about wanting AMD to step up for the benefit of everyone.
If your 100% happy with the 7970CF then speak up, this is the thread to do it in. But to go after the OP for posting absolute relevant information, its disgraceful to our community.
