FVCKING hell!

That is SO crazy on so many levels.

WHY squat on a SWISS BALL?! Point of the squat is to lift heavy/ reps and you CAN'T do either whilst on a dam ball...

Haha, I can't wait 'till the ball pops and the dude comes crashing down with a barbell on top of him.

WOW...that is some sutpid stuff there...idiots dont realize that, isnt serious lifting at all...

man...disapoints me to see such unqualified trainers out there who know nothing really about lifting....

He is building incredible core strength and balance by doing that exercise.

There are tons and I mean tons of exercises that you will not see in 90% of gyms that are just phenomenal for building athletic ability.

Go back to your bicep curls.

all the spotting in the world that guy in the back is doing isnt goign to help if the dude flips forward and the sh1t comes crashing down on his skull

as a personal trainer that is by far the dumbest exercise I have seen, look how his ankles are angled, too much stress and pressure on the knees.

WINNAR

I can't imagine a trainer instructing a client do that exercise. Hope he made the guy sign a release before he got on that ball.

Go back to your bicep curls.

There are much, much safer ways to build up core strength and balance, let alone athletic ability.

Is the risk worth it when one slip-up in this situation could leave him severely injured or paralyzed?

No swiss ball will bu ild 'athletic ability'. For athletic ability you need power which is a function of strength and speed. Neither will be worked on the swiss ball whilst squating. Your better off squating normally with weights for heavy reps and mix up with some higher rep stuff later. Do some PC and back and back and other works.

I don't do bicep curls.

Incline sit ups with weights is better for core then doing what he is doing. He can also do dragon flags or bulkoffs.

His knees and ankles are fine.

The problem is him using 70Kg on a swiss ball!

If he tried to squat on the ball without weights that wouldn't be so bad for a mix up of balance. If he fell he would have no risk of a barbell landing on him!
