I obviously posted this in the wrong forum originally. OT is full of freakin turds..
Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone here can help me find what I am looking for. In our new house (we close on the 30th) we have a spare room that we plan to turn into a small workout room. It's perfect size for my wife an elliptical machine and myself a decent workout area for P90X and small weights.
My problem is, this room is built to be a bedroom....with nice carpet flooring. I plan to turn this room back into a bedroom when we start having kids (more than 1 because we already have a spare another bedroom for 1 youngster). With that said, I do not want to rip up the carpet just to have a workout room. I also do not want to put wear and tear on the carpet while working out (going back and forth on carpet wears it down QUICK).
Instead, I would like to do a 5'x5' up to 7'x7' gym flooring. I have looked online but don't really know what I am looking for. What do you guys suggest on top of carpet (I have seen gym flooring "tiles"). I don't mind spending a couple of hundred dollars on this, but I would think I could get out on this under $100.....or am I dreaming?
