Guys: Would you ever have a serious relationship with a girl...

<< Depends on lots of other factors...

yea, like how good she was
>>

that would be my number one criteria. 🙂

<< yea, like how good she was 🙂 >>

I wasn't actually thinking along those lines but now you mention it... 🙂

<< if she slept with you on the first date? >>

ya know... it takes two people to do the deed. If a guy sleeps with a girl on the first date, both parties are equally guilty. So if a girl sleeps with me, we're a slut pair made in heaven... of course i'd consider a relationship.😀

What kind of "relationship" are you talking about?

The one where two people are in it together because they love each other? Whatever happened to those kind of relationships?

SpecialEd has a good point there.... 🙂

As for an answer to your questions... it depends on a lot of factors.... and on Cupid's arrows of course... 😉

Maybe, it would depends on the girl. If she was hooking up every night with a different guy, no. But then again if she was like that i would not sleep with her in the first place. 🙂

i like this post.

*kat. <-- 😛

if a girl wanted to sleep with me on the first date, that just screams "slut" to me and i wouldn't sleep with her, let alone go out with her.

Nice self esteem you got there. What if you saw her everyday for three years, and finally worked up the courage to ask her out, and she said yes, and that she had been VERY interested in you ever since she met you? "No thanks, slut. I know you look nice, but to me you're just another 50 cent whore." Classy.

it would depend on the girl.

again like specialEd says it takes two people. If she was sleeping with every other guy then no way....

I was going to make a copy kat thread asking girls the same question... but i've been sick of those recently.. So i'm just going to ask here...

Same question to the girls... would you have a meaningful relationship with a guy if slept with you on the first date?

Actually, it's quite possible that I would fall in love with her (because it would be my first time). Then I would project my feelings onto her and think that she must love me too if she slept with me on the first date.

Then I would try to call her but she would never be home. So I would leave messages on her answering machine -- but she would never return them. Then I would wonder if it was because she was super busy or if she was avoiding me.

Then I would find out that she was sleeping around with other guys. And to top it off, I would find out that she was making fun of me behind my back because of my small wee-wee.

Then I would bump into her on the street and try to say "Hi" but saw that she averted her eyes pretending not to see me and I would get sad.

No, obviously if you knew her from before and that was just your first time dating it's totally different. I meant like you met somewhere and ended up going to your place for the night. I wouldn't want to have a relationship with someone like that -- simply because I would afraid that she would do this to any other guy.

Let's face it this is a known double standard, and while you may tecnically be right, society says otherwise.

It depends on how hard you had to work on her. Couple beers and right in the sack is a
great Friday night but not relationship material. Just because she sleeps with
you on the first date doesn't mean she's a slut. Any number of factors can lead to
a positive sexual relationship.

And the idea that the guy is equally at fault is good on paper but not even close to the truth in our society.
Go ahead and try to treat the situation as partners in crime but if your
son goes out and gets layed (laid?), he's cool, if your daughter goes out and gets layed, off to the nunnery.
I didn't make up this rule but look around you. Look at our TV shows, movies, the standards by
which our society live by. If you think they're equal, you're the exception, not the rule.

Thank you, at least somebody agrees with me. I know deep inside that this is wrong, but there is nothing we can do about it -- that's just how our society is. And also, there are a lot of other relationship things that girls catch a break, and guys don't.
