I stopped working out entirely during my last relationship. I entered the relationship at about 155 lbs, 3 years later I hovered somewhere around 165-170 lbs.
The weight gain is deceptive though because I probably lost about 10-15 lbs of lean muscle mass, meaning I gained about 25-30 lbs of fat. I started working out again when we broke up, and it was startling how much of my physique I lost. I'm as lean now at 140 lbs as I was at 155 lbs before the relationship. But I'm in a new relationship now and I'm determined not to let myself go again. Unfortunately it was a lot easier to keep fit at 19 than it is at 24. 🙁
