hypothetical question but what would you guys do if your healthy sized gf started to gain some weight.
i'm not talking about 2-3 pounds that can be attributed to a big meal, water weight, etc.
i'm talking major weight gainage, like 5+ pounds with no end in sight.

i feel it's wrong for me to stop her from eating the foods she likes, but i feel i have to step in at some point because it's just unhealthy.

would you just come out and say you're getting fat, stop eating, and order her salads with low fat dressing when you go out to eat?

5 pounds is major weight gain?

I've known my wife since 1990, we were married in 1992 and since I met her she has gained maybe 5 pounds. She works out more now than she did when I met her too. She is 5'4" and around 125-130lbs. Here's a pic, she's the one on the right (in the black top).

Or in the bathroom: "damn who broke the scale again?"

Speaking of scales, it would be pretty cool if you can find someone to program a digital scale to be accurate over x lbs so that when the guy steps on it it's accurate and when the girl steps on it, it has a 1.x modifier. 😉

That way you can verify that the scale works when she asks you to step on it to test it.

HIM: "It's perfectly fine babe, 160 like always... what does it say for you?"
HER: <mumbling>
HIM: "What? I didn't hear that"

not care about it if I loved them unless it started getting out of control?

5 pounds isn't a significant amount of weight. I might start caring if it was in the 30+ gain range.

Wife does family and marriage counseling. Had a woman that came in complaining the her hubby didn't want to have sex with her anymore. Hubby comes in and says,"1.5 years ago, when we got married, she was a size 2. Now she's a size 14." Enough said, for him anyway.

😱
One and a half years and she grew 12 sizes. She really waited until marriage to let herself go....:awe:

In the middle of the night: "Stop hogging the bed."
In the kitchen: "God damn it, who ate all the ____"

Constantly barrage her with subtle hints while not exposing yourself. 😛

lol

the kitchen line is especially funny if it's just the two of you living together
