<< man leg hair doesn't take kindly to being shaved. >>

And how would you know this? Does it take kindly to being trimmed or something?

Haha, I'm not a homo! I got you covered though, man. I'm asain, but i'm pretty hairy for an asian. I have to sahve every two days or so and my legs are kinda hairy. Anyway, last summer, I took a trip to catalina with my best friend and she always said stuff about my hairy legs, so I went out to the garage and got the hair clippers. You know, those things they use to shave hair. I clipped on a number 3 or something, and went up and down. No chance of cut, and you don't look like a guy who shaves his legs. :)

Again, I am not a homo!

EDIT: *looks at nice heterosexual pr0n, looks at pants, is reassured*

I'm still trying to figure out what shaving your legs has to do with being a "homo."

Unless you are a biker or swim (like someone else has already stated), then it's kind of girly.

A homo and a guy that wants to treat his bod like a girl are two different things.

Not trying to say you are either, though, Spanky!

one of my roommates keeps looking at my legs and telling me i need to shave them but she is a girl so her opinion does not count...she said she is going to make her bf shave his legs sometime

what she doesn't realize is that she is turning him homo and inadvertently ruining the relationship by making him cut his man fur :D

For a guy it's pretty gay and goofy and most girls won't like it.

Even if you do ride a bike or swim it's no excuse. Unless you're competing at the top of your game it really makes little difference. Just say no.

Not if you're a woman. If you have a Y chromosome though you're best off to avoid it.

ZV

EDIT: I don't even like shaving my face. Why would anyone want to worry about shaving more body parts?

I've been shaving my legs for years....of course, I'm a cyclist. We do that kinda stuff.

The big question you're all dying to ask...WHY DO YOU DO THAT FAUSTO? ARE YOU CYCLISTS A BUNCH I OF DEVIANT BUTT-PIRATES OR SOMETHING?

The answer: No. There are good reasons for shaving.

1. Easier to clean up road rash without all that hair in the wound and sticking to the bandages and such. Believe me, I have lots of experience with this (crashed a lot back when I raced:eek:)

2. Easier to get a nice massage after a race without all the hair. This of course mostly applies to those of us with wives or g/f's we can talk into doing this. Really help with recovery and muscle soreness the next day.

3. It looks good. You spend all that time on the bike developing your gams...ya wanna show them off, right? No hair = good muscle definition. :D

4. It gets gopunk excited.;)

To sum up. Shave 'em if you want to. If you don't like it, it'll grow back just like it was (the myths about it growing back thicker are just that).

Fausto

EDIT: RE: what Skoorb said: Contrary to popular belief, cyclists don't shave for wind resistance reasons (it makes negligable difference) it's mostly the #1 reason I listed. We hit the deck pretty often while racing and cleaning up a square foot of roadrash with all that hair in the way is a nightmare. Same reason a doc will shave an area if he's stitching you up.

c: i believe the rule for having a hairy ass is that you must 1: be male and 2: be able to see some skin there

I agree with eviltommy's ass hair rule...

You should actually be able to see flesh under the hair... if not, you should consider shaving it.
THIS RULE ONLY APPIES TO MEN. Women should always be well groomed, and at least trimmed.

Same rule applies to back hair IMHO.

Would you be laughing if he shows up at an Arnold Classic show in a few years?

I work out and last year when I got to 4% bodyfat at 180lbs, I shaved not only my legs but my chest, arms, back and stomach region. Then I threw on a fake tan and took my pics. Yeah, it's not for everyone, but taking a look at my before and afters I was pretty proud of what I accomplished. Sorta like taking a bunch of computer parts, putting them together to make a mean, smooth running machine.

Oh, and save the homo jokes. I have been married, faithfully, for seven years and have four kids (from 8 to 11 months).
