Guys & Gals: Your reaction to this scenerio

This happened in a past relationship, but I still get different reactions from different people. See what you think...

I was in a new relationship with this girl. The apartment she was living in is very close to an ex-boyfriend's place and the guy makes a point to always involve himself. She speaks of him quite LOWLY, basically making this guy out to be a real lowlife and how she hates dealing with him. We'll say his name is Richard.

One night, I get a late call from her. She had just gotten home after being stranded at the Train Station because her car wouldn't start. Feeling bad about that I of course express my concern for her and ask how she got home. She says she called Richard and got help.

Think about that for a second, she called a person she so clearly said she despised. Her reasoning was she didn't want a hassle and that Richard lived close by and it was the easiest way.

So, anyone besides me, think that's a bit 'suspect'?

VERY interesting. I think he dumped her and still had the hots for him!🙂 He maybe even decided he wanted her back and thats why he bothered the "new" couple. Makes ya wonder doesn't it!!!!!

I think that a relationship is based on trust...If you can trust her then it's ok. If not, you guys got problems.

Let's see, if I despised someone, I'd call a cab before I called them for help.

If that person was also an ex? I'd walk.

Trust no one.

I KNEW she was a 'shady' chick after that instance. I even tried to break-up with her after that cause I knew that was just a MILD omen of worse things to come.

But she talked me out of it, and of course it turned out like I thought and we broke up soon after anyway.

But to me there's no bad relationships, it's all learning experiences.

Namuna, you said it happened in a past relationship seems to me that you have figured it out. if it was a relationship that was not to get serious about, it was ok but other than that you was on your way to get your feelings step on.

Honesty and open-ness are cornerstones of a relationship. You need to tell her of your jealousy. Get it out in the open. Just my opinion...

'not making any conclusions here, but it doesn't take a genious to figure something's not right 😕
