On that I agree 100 % with you. A dude doesn't have to love my cats like I do but any person I've ever run across who hates cats... well, let's just say that was real a dignostic indicator that they were not the sort of person I wanted to know :)

What you're saying is that a stupid cat is more important than an interpersonal relationship on a deeper level. My god... someone needs to get out more.

*sigh* ONCE again, another OT thread has turned into "the telephone game" where the original message gets completely torqued to heck.

Just for the record:

1. The sex was great; admitted to by BOTH parties
2. I broke up w/her for a number of reasons, the CATS were one of them (I am highly allergic, break out in hives and my throat closes!)
3. Smoke makes my eyes dry (I wear contacts) and my clothes stink (I am not stinky!)

We are still great friends.

A number of good points have been made and I appreciate that. I talked to her today. I came this close to saying "hey, were your ears ringing earlier?" :D

I was actually being sarcastic... Michael made the point of not liking someone because of a cat. and He's proud to be a male too it appears.

So it is not universal just because you're proud to be a male doesn't make you not stupid.

Michael, nik thinks you need to get out more.. that will magically cure your allergic reaction so you won't feel that stupid cat is more important than an interpersonal relastionship anymore.

I'm not going to read the thread, just want to put my .02 in.

It sounds like she has emotional issues and needs friends a whole lot more than she needs the Hot Beef Injection.

If you ever cared for her at all, you'd be more concerned at her behavior and less concerned about getting in line for a freebie. She's putting herself in real danger and showing very little respect for herself. So it makes sense that you don't really respect her either, doesn't it? :(

BTW, it's not about morality. The majority of mental health counselors would agree that from your brief description of her, she sounds like she is in emotional pain and she's trying to escape it in all the wrong ways.

Ok, for the record, girls will say that "the sex was great" and not mean it. Girls have a tendency to tell guys what they want to hear. Especially if you guys are still friends, she's not going to tell you the truth. Now, if the break up was nasty then that's when the truth comes out. But then again, I'm not saying that she's lying either. You never know...but if the sex was that great and she doens't seem to care much about casual sex, I have no idea why she wouldn't want that with you. Makes you wonder...? :p

Oh by the way, you have a weird definition of "friendship". I'm certainly glad I don't have friends like you. Sorry if I'm judging harshly but your request seems so selfish. If all you want is an easy lay why don't you just find some girl who actually wants to give it to you? It's actually not hard to find, just look at your ex.

My question is..if you hate smoke so much, why would you wanna get it on with someone who does---like licking an ashtray i tell you... or maybe your version of casual sex not involve kissing(the facial lips)? that i can see...

Heh, I see the Moralists and Psychologists have all come out of the woodwork. :) Does she have issues? Of course she does! So do I and so do YOU, every one of us is hung up on, scarred by, traumatized by or just having a hard time dealing with some aspect of this crazy merry-go-round we call "life." :)

If you think I'm a slimeball b/c I'm trying for easy sex, then that's OK, you are entitled to your opinion. AFA protecting her from herself goes, I have talked w/her about it. She knows what she is doing and is fully aware of the risks involved. She is a grown woman and has to answer to no one, including me.

Honestly, I haven't hit on her in a couple of months. What sparked this thread was a convo I had w/a coworker this morning. He was at Academy sporting goods over the weekend. Ran into his ex. Went back to her place. 20 minutes it was over. Everyone was happy, no strings attached. What a prick he is for having such luck! :|

Oops, my bad!

I should have known better than to take the bait.

But, in case anyone is listening, what has been described here is ultimately destructive behavior.

Please, if you need to get your rocks off that bad, do the world a favor and just wank.

:p
