Guy that doesn't shower

I know someone that hasn't showered in 11 months, third hand information, so I don't know how badly he smells, but to go that long without a shower is just sickening.

I had a coworker who is indian. A group of us went out to lunch one time and it was his turn to pick a place, we said Indian was ok, so he took us to a place he liked. Well, the food was decent, nothing strange about it. Chicken, rice, with indian spices. However, I noticed later that the Curry (or whatever else was) on it had me smelling 'indian.'. I mostly noticed it on my hands (we had chicken drumsticks)...

If you've ever cut garlic by hand, you'll know it gets in your skin and is difficult to remove the scent with soap. NOTE: They do have some special rubbing stones that help a lot (We have one) to remove the smell.

So, even after showering and again the next day my body still smelled indian to me. After that I'm convinced that it's indian food that causes the smell I was familiar with and it's not lack of showering. Still all that may or may not have anything to do with the no-shower guy.

You just rub lemon on your hands to remove the smell. Yes Indian food does smell but it does NOT come out of your skin. Knowing Deeko (from what he's posted in the past), I?m guessing this is a bunch of BS. Sadly I've seen a lot of Indians and know a lot of Indians that just don't use deodorant. As far as showering, I shower twice a day and I'm Indian (with no smell 😀) Deeko and pals are making an assumption based on no facts. They take away a bar of soap and assume the guy doesn't possibly have another.

Might I suggest constantly rubbing up against people so they can catch a whiff of your soap?

the robotics club at my school as a whole doesnt shower. you walk in there and... walk out to get some fresh air.
It's not race so much as culture. Indians, for instance, eat lots of curry and other foods with "unusual" odors. I think sometimes they can secrete that smell. But in addition to that sometimes they do not have the same hygenic goals as other people. I'm not saying it to be racist just pointing out my observations.

An indian guy from work I had to room with a couple weeks back showered every day though, but i have encountered many who have an "odor".

Oh yea, just a note, his roommate is Indian, so he would know if it were Indian food or fragrences or something like that. Nope. The kid just doesn't shower. 1.5 days and counting!

Good thing you DON'T know Deeko, you just randomly decided to start berating me in every thread. What facts do we NOT have? The fact that we have seen him come out of the shower twice all year? The fact that both times, he had nothing but a towel? And no sh!t he could have more soap, that's why I said we are going to confront him "if he hasn't said anything or if it hasn't been replaced". And just fyi, "Deeko and his pals" are my ENTIRE FLOOR. This isn't just something a few of us have noticed. So it seems to me YOU are missing the facts, YOU don't know what's going on, YOU need to get out of my threads.

He does have one though...so we are gonna catch him in the act. His roommate took the soap out, and we are going to wait a week, if he hasn't said anything or replaced the soap, we are gonna confront him and tell him we know he doesn't shower.

maybe he's afraid of witches... 😉 (hopefully some of you will get that reference)

awww c'mon...no one got that reference?! 🙁

That's stupid logic at best. I'm sure you've seen him take a sh!t every single time he's gone. I'm sure its the entire floor

Longest period of time I have gone without shower was... 4 days. I showered in wednesday, and next shower was in sunday. Reason for that was:

1. I'm currently suffering from a dry skin (winter climate causes it), so instead of showering every day, I shower every other day (showering dries the skin even more).

2. Since I showered in wednesday, my next scheduled shower would have been in friday. But I wasn't going anywhere duirng the weekend, I dedided not to shower during the weekend (like I said, it easier on my skin), so I waited 'till sunday. But damn it started to feel awkward! Luckily I was all alone during the weekend so it wasn't embarrassing or anything. It felt REALLY good after I had showered 🙂!

You didn't shower b/c you were home alone all weekend, why were you alone all weekend oh ya b/c you didn't shower. It's a viscious cycle.....break out. (j/k) 🙂

I'm pretty sure you don't know what it's like living with somebody who reeks of crap. There are people on my floor who I swear must keep zoo animals in their room.

You would still see them showering at some point in time. You can tell if somebody showers or not.

Jackass. Is this that hard to understand. We have lived with this kid for 8 months now. In that 8 months, TWICE he has showered that we've seen. Could it be more? Sure, maybe we missed one or two. The fact of the matter is HE DOES NOT SHOWER REGULARLY. YES the entire floor is aware of it. YES the entire floor is in on this. YOU tell ME to grow up, when you are the one fvcking stalking me on an internet forum. I have no idea what caused you to suddenly decided to start following me around like this, but its getting old. Let me clue you in.
You do not know me.
You have no idea if I am mature or not.
Everything I say or do is not wrong.
It is childish and immature to go in every thread someone makes and make sad attempts to mock them.
You are totally clueless.
You probably lack friends.
You need to get the fvck out of my threads unless you have something useful to say.

Exactly. You can tell when someone's showers, either when they are ready to go out or night, or before they go to sleep or when they wake up. Within the whole school year, you will know if people shower.

I am Indian and shower in the morning and again if I worked out. I don't reek like other Indians, allthough I do know of the smell you are talking about Deeko.

You people are also pretty ignorant assuming we put on some sort of oil or our food makes us smell awful all the time.

Maybe he has that condition where he smells regardless of showering. I saw this story on Dateline i think it was. It was a few years back and they said there's this condition where this hormone is out of control i think and it causes people to smell even though they shower many times. People think they don't shower, but they do.

In your case it's probably not a medical condition, but i do feel sorry for people that do have that condition.

Just buy some raid and spray it on him. Should kill the bugs.

On another note, when I was in the Army, I found from first hand experience that if you don't shower, the mosquitos don't bite as much after about the third or fourth day w/o a shower. You get used to it.

You really are ignorant. You're assuming it?s a lack of showering. He might shower frequently all you know. If you read above, it was stated by quite a few people that unfortunately, most Indians don't wear deodorant. There are also disorders which cause the body to give off some bad odors no matter how much you shower. Try to open up your mind and maybe you'll learn something. And I do have an idea of how mature you are based on all the various idiotic threads I?ve seen of yours in the recent past. Hell, look at your name calling 🙂 That's something my friend's little 7 year old brother does. Please, really, grow up. Before you try to embarrass the poor guy.

not all asians...my roommate last semester never showered for what must have been the entire year...the room smelled like @ss and i never saw him leave to the shower. He had dandruff and stains on all his clothes. Plus he was fat and ate like a cow with his mouth open. I thought it was just me, but

I know he didn't take a shower because i put a nickel on his towel while it was hanging up in the beginning of november. It stayed there through christmas.

Ok, tell me when he is showering. His roommate doesn't see him showering, and his roommate is in the room most of the day. Literally the ONLY way he could frequently shower would be if he skipped class EVERY DAY just to shower when we weren't there. Considering people have class with him, and see him at class, that is ruled out. I will spell it out for you.
HE
DOES
NOT
SHOWER.
There is no question about it.

lol damn that is nasty. And I have had roommates before that were disgusting. But I never jumped the gun and assumed that I knew what was the problem.
