Remember that when you go to these elaborate lengths to humiliate him.

We aren't trying to humiliate him. We're trying to get him to take a fvcking shower. We tell him to, he lies and says he does. If he would shower WITH SOAP every now and then, it would help him because people wouldn't be repulsed by his stench, and it would help us because we wouldn't have to smell him. How do you think his roommate feels? His room smells terrible because of this kid. And his roommate is an insanely nice guy so he isn't gonna complain about it to him. He only took the soap because we told him to.

Why would he have soap if he doesn't use it? Next time you see him just ambush him and run him under the shower for a good 15 minutes.

Maybe its just the curry if he is indian. Once I ate a pint of chicken in curry sauce and I stank for like 1/2 a day. That stuff just comes out through your skin. Thats why I haven't had curry since.

We don't know why he has soap. We just know he doesn't use it. When he DOES shower, he waters himself.

We see what he eats at the dining hall. Pizza and cereal, for every meal.

on a smell facto 1-10, how bad is it? say a 10 is a bucket of vomite and crap ..
A bucket of vomit AND crap...hmm....I'd say a 9.

What about the french?

There are some indians that smell like sh!t but I'm around 20-30 indian people every friday when he have our cricket matches people from Pakistan Vs. People from India & out of all of them one stinks. I make fun of him almost every day but he still smells.

Have you guys ever considered it might be the stuff that he applies to himself?

I've been vaguely introduced to some of the indian culture before, and i believe that they apply certain "fragances" and oils to their body as part of their religion or culture or something.

And that those things actually smell good to their people (maybe historical reason). It just smells weird to the rest of us because we are not used to it.

i knew a kid that NEVER took a shower, he was in my english class last year of HS, wore the same clothes to school every day, never got a haircut, never shaved........

As far as i know it could be hair oil, which is nasty in the first place...but nothing religious or cultural...It seems in a lot of middle eastern and south asian countires they dont use deoderant...

True.

I'm not an Indian, but I know many of them. It's unfair to say that ALL of them stinks. The smell that you think is body odour, may just be some kinda "fragrance" made of some oil and herbs.

Give me a concrete scientific proof that the smell from your food actually comes out from your skin !!

There is a guy on my floor who doesn't shower. He STINKS. We've seen him coming back from the shower TWICE all year, and both times, he wasn't carrying a tote with soap or shampoo. He does have one though...so we are gonna catch him in the act. His roommate took the soap out, and we are going to wait a week, if he hasn't said anything or replaced the soap, we are gonna confront him and tell him we know he doesn't shower.

maybe he's afraid of witches... 😉 (hopefully some of you will get that reference)

Longest period of time I have gone without shower was... 4 days. I showered in wednesday, and next shower was in sunday. Reason for that was:

1. I'm currently suffering from a dry skin (winter climate causes it), so instead of showering every day, I shower every other day (showering dries the skin even more).

2. Since I showered in wednesday, my next scheduled shower would have been in friday. But I wasn't going anywhere duirng the weekend, I dedided not to shower during the weekend (like I said, it easier on my skin), so I waited 'till sunday. But damn it started to feel awkward! Luckily I was all alone during the weekend so it wasn't embarrassing or anything. It felt REALLY good after I had showered 🙂!
