It depends.. I don't have any background on the guy, but does he vote against things like AK47's and massive shotguns? Some people can still be antigun but still believe a single handgun in the house is ok.

No. I'm sure the Senator supported the right of people to keep shotguns in the home, which are good for self defense.

Unless I missed it I didn't see anything in that short article saying he is a 'gun control advocate'. Anyway, assuming he is why is he voting that way? Is he voting that way because that's what his constituents want? Is he pro gun ownership but with restrictions on ownership?

R.C. Soles. Google the name, he's called a gun control advocate everywhere. I've been through a few pages though, I can't find his voting records to establish just how extreme he is on gun control. One site did say that he opposed the Castle Law that went through in NC, but again, I can't find confirmation.

This is worth quoting to keep around. At the very least, he allegedly was against the Castle Law.

That shotgun is the closest thing to sexy I've ever seen a gun be. The CF gray combined with the bright contrast of the shells. Nice! It would be an honor to be shot to death by it.

I was hoping for that response, although I had wished it was from one of our resident anti-gun people.

Much like the Seinfeld twix set-up, this was a set-up as well :awe:

They are both Remington 12 gauge 870's

Much like every other kind of advocate, gun control advocates don't want to BAN guns, they just want to make sure no one but they can get them.
