I think the drums look fine but GH3 charts were horrible, boss battles were horrible, and their DLC sucks.
I can't say 100% I won't try this but probably not.

theyll probably use rfid chips in the drumsticks to make sure you can only use GH4 branded officially licensed sticks.

I really want to buy the Muse DLC that was just released for GH3, but I so rarely play that game anymore that it wouldn't be worth it.

After Rock Band, the Guitar Hero series now seems almost lackluster, and I doubt GH4, or basically Rock Band 2, will make me feel any different.
Not to mention, I am much happier with Rock Band's DLC.

Unfortunately, even if RB is compatible with the GH drums (and not vica versa), the game probably just isn't going to work well with them - those cymbals are going to totally screw up the pattern timing, making things much harder than they should be.
I'm definitely not going to be buying GH drums - Activision is just pissing me off now.
No - in the sense that the note patterns in Rock Band are set up for a very specific drum set. Once you change the drum set, and thus have to move further to the cymbals or whatever, the notes become harder to hit.Originally posted by: drum
