I was wanting a single button bound to it, and didn't really consider doing it myself (though I bound other keys to be more GW-friendly: "c" is now target closest enemy, etc).

does shit-clicking your items and stuff to post in chat send you dodging in weird directions, now? or have you not used shift for anything else?

yeah, so do I. that's how I tend to circle the perimeter as I laser down my target.

I never have been a big user of strafe in any game, really. :\

ha... ya actually it does. I've been considering using Space instead and binding jump to something else.

the problem with jump is that while it seems useless for much of the noob areas, it will be essential in those puzzle dungeons that have platforming sequences.


Also: anyone else noticed how the various class missions pretty much follow the same storyline? Infiltrate local rival faction, get nice with authority, etc?

ToR-like storytelling, it ain't. But, to be fair, GW sucked balls with storytelling.

Login server is still down. Can I still "preorder" Tera and get into the game this weekend?

Edit: Preorder is still available it appears at Tera...and 5 seconds later, right before I went through with the preorder, I got into the game again 😉
 
man, I can't go more than 20 yards without seeing a lumber or herb node but i've found a total of like 3 copper nodes the entire time so far.
 
Oh, has any one managed to claim their beta gems? I have a mystic chest that I need a key for, but every time I go through the process of claiming the gems I get an error.

I tried this morning and was unable to.

As a side note, I did get a key as a quest reward though.

I forgot to use it on one of my mystic chests though.

but I did get gems last night. exchanged a few for cash (to buy the expensive trait book) and for a key. (I got a magic lumber axe in my chest! :\)

Dougp was also having problems with gems this morning.

Are you on Vasburg? I could mail you some gems...I think...If I ever get to log back in.


Speaking of--how many of you are on Vasburg that want in on a guild? I joined one that was spam inviting people last night and they are pretty good folks. Zokudu and DougP? are in now as well.

Yeah Zin, I'm on Vasburg. I actually saw you run by me in DR last night but it was right as I was getting queued into a party member's story.

Probably won't on till later (if at all) tonight but I'll look for ya tomorrow if you're around. I'm in my ToR guild but we could tear something up fo sho.

I'm Klythe on Vasburg. I'd join a guild...assuming I'm every able to play again this weekend.

Level 13 Warrior. Warrior's actually pretty fun. I like the Greatsword spec, but Rifle is also pretty awesome.
 
Wish i could play but going to be working all day for the next week. I got on last night for an hour but couldn't stay awake.
 
So the Beta forums have been down this whole time as well, and it had logged me out.

Just tried to log back in to those, but it does not recognize my information....

Yeah, that's a generic error on the beta forums...basically just means the login servers (which are the same for the game and the forum) are down.

Pretty smart way to keep the forums from lighting up when there's a problem, lol.

well, back in but chat is not working for me again. can't see my guild convo coming up. anyway, i'll try to find the guild registrar in divinity and send the invite(s)
 
Fail 🙁

Tried to move from the overflow to the normal instance and it crashed and now won't let me back in. 🙁

And: remapping dodge to shift has increased my survivability by 800%. I'm now able to solo more than one enemy, lol.

also more used to properly switching weapon sets and much better use of clone bombing. Watching those centaurs fly is quite satisfying.
