Unbelievable.

This role is basically tailor made for Jason Statham and it goes to Diesel? Ugh. If Diesel accepted it, and it's not sci-fi, expect another ridiculously cheesy script.

Jason's the enforcer guy in snatch, right?

I would have preferred Jean Reno. He's the guy that starred with Natalie Portman in Leon the Professional. (I hear NAtalie is doing a sequel to that.)

no, he was the boxing promoter for the guy that gets knockdown by brad pitt in the first 20 miniutes of the movie

He was also in the Transporter, which while not the greatest movie, has incredible action scenes.

The coolest part about the Hitman video games were how the levels were designed such that intricate methods were required to get through the level without killing anyone but your target. I wonder if they will properly convey this into the movie somehow.

Jason Statham would fit perfectly in this role. Vin Diesel is too big to be the Hitman.

Dude, I almost had you!

You never had me. You never had your sniper rifle. Breathing heavy not firing on the exhale like you should. You're lucky those extra grains in your load didn't backfire... You almost had me?

Ask any hitman, and REAL hitman. It doesn't matter if you miss by an inch or a mile. Head shots are everything.

Clooney might be able to pull it off.. he already sort of has the Sam Fisher look to him :)

How about the guy that voices him? The guy from starship troopers, with one arm.

while I agree that Jason Statham would have been ideal, have you looked at how many movies he is currently involved with? Perhaps he didn't have the time/or the studios didn't ahve the patience to make it work

I like Karl Urban...he's probably a little too dark and brooding for Sam Fisher though.

I agree he would've been perfect; didn't remember him in Snatch, but he's also the driver in The Transporter - a very Hitman-like role to start with.

And on the topic of spy movies, Paramount needs to get off their asses and finally make Without Remorse. Mr. C > *.spies

Omg, that's true, he's actually perfect! But Vin Diesel is teh not! I had some expectations, but they're shot to hell now.

Yup. But then the director of the film isn't known for his masterpieces.

Fvcking rediculous. Why the fvck would anyone EVER think of picking Vin Diesel to play Hitman? Vin is a brute, completely opposite of what 47 is! *sighs at the utter stupidity of movie makers*

I mean, seriously. Do producers TRY to make movies as bad as they can or something?
