Guess the song from distorted lyrics

I awoke in the vestibule of a London building. To my dismay a peace officer was present, who informed me I was free to go, assuming I could prove to him I was capable of walking.

Edit: Rules. Post song lyrics but change the wording enough to throw off Google searches. Keep in in tune with the actual song, meaning don't obfuscate it beyond interpretation. To make it fun don't just thesaurus words, make it your own song! When someone guesses correctly, post the actual lyrics. It is then that person's turn to post (pass the baton). If they do no post in a timely manner (give them 15 minutes) it's first come first serve for the next round.
