Did you guys also notice that this guy got hit by a truck at an earlier point in time? I'd bet a thousand bucks that this guy didn't get rundown by some mobster or something trying to kill a cop but instead was just a typical moron that got hit by a truck while crossing the street. Dude, if you seriously feel you have an intruder in your home it is in your worst defense to call out to them. They have already become acclimated to the light levels and probably know exactly where the homeowner can enter from.

Also if there is more than one person you really killed your odds of defense.
