15% average more powerful than a 980.. lol

Titan massive rip off for that performance.

basically only worth the extra Vram which 6GB will be enough until node shrink big die comes out.

All that's left now is pricing, but with the rumors at $649, anyone who waited two months will save $350 and get the same performance as the Titan-X.

And that's assuming another price drop doesn't follow AMD's Fury.

All in 2560x1600 resolution

Batman Arkham City:
GTX 980Ti: 110FPS
GTX Titan X: 110FPS (0%)
GTX 980: 83.1FPS (+32%)
R9 290X: 81FPS (+36%)

BioShock Infinite:
GTX 980Ti: 112.1FPS
GTX Titan X: 110.3FPS (+2%)
GTX 980: 83.1FPS (+35%)
R9 290X: 75.6FPS (+48%)

Crysis 2:
GTX 980Ti: 83.6FPS
GTX Titan X: 83.7FPS (+0%)
GTX 980: 63.6FPS (+31%)
R9 290X: 56.6FPS (+48%)

Dirt3:
GTX 980Ti: 160.7FPS
GTX Titan X: 161.7FPS (-1%)
GTX 980: 116.7FPS (+38%)
R9 290X: 100.9FPS (+59%)

Hitman Absolution:
GTX 980Ti: 49.9FPS
GTX Titan X: 49.6FPS (+0%)
GTX 980: 36.3FPS (+37%)
R9 290X: 34.5FPS (+45%)

Metro Last Light

GTX 980Ti: 60FPS
GTX Titan X: 62FPS (-3%)
GTX 980: 49FPS (+22%)
R9 290X: 45FPS (+33%)

Tomb Raider:
GTX 980Ti: 78.1FPS
GTX Titan X: 78.4FPS (+0%)
GTX 980: 50.4FPS (+55%)
R9 290X: 42.5FPS (+84%)

In average over 7 games, GTX 980 Ti is equal with GTX Titan X in performance, 36% faster than GTX 980 and 50% faster than R9 290X

I almost feel like buying 3 of these just to have a far faster gaming rig than my friend who JUST bought 2 Titan X's and posted it to FB. 3 of these are faster and cheaper than Titan X. But you pay to be the best for Nvidia.

So the 295X2 is still faster on average, and costs around 620 dollars on Newegg. If the 799 launch price is correct then all I can say is lol.
If it's 650 then obviously an okay(ish) card.

Don't be silly, multigpu is bad and you know it.

The real competitor will be fiji.

GTX 980Ti have been confirmed $649 MSRP buddy
Notice that NDA for GTX 980Ti ends June 1st. So Zol was too quick to post this review. Bless them 😉

I can hear the cry of many Titan X owners right now. GTX 980Ti perfom more or less like a GTX Titan X.
Or those that bought a GTX 980 for $569 like yesteday only to find out that they could get a 35% faster GTX 980Ti for just $80 more

Poor souls. Yikes
But thats the game. Gotta know when to invest:$

It's really hateful I really don't get why Titan owners did it AGAIN when they knew the Ti would come out soon and deliver a better experience at far less of a price.

I wonder if there are even situations where the Titan X is more desirable anyway.

With weak dp support, I can't think of any...

$750 MSRP 😉 Exchange rates were not adjusted in that picture it appears.

Just wait until it releases and you can quote me later. 🙂 If I am wrong I will buy one at $650.

What? USD is not America?

The 980Ti came out much quicker after Titan though, compared to Kepler.
I hope most people is prepared for 980Ti but we can be damn sure many didnt have a clue. Poor people.

Yeah the only benefit I can think of is 12GB VRAM. Me personally wouldnt know what to do with so much VRAM though 😛

We run into this all the time at work. Exchange rates need adjusted for our US currency. If they translate it directly from other countries rates they don't count in the value of the american dollar.

I could be wrong but we have until tomorrow to figure that out. I am willing to wait since I already waited for what is feels like an eternity.

The other USD prices are correct, except the 980 which got a $50 decrease... Do you think just the 980 Ti got miscalculated in the conversion?

The other cards were released so the MSRP was already predetermined since it was past NDA. How do we know that picture is actual official numbers?

The NDA screenshot seems pretty offical Nvidia secret mambo jambo to me.
It was benchlife that leaked it, which is very reliable.
Other sources that back $649 is
HWBattle
DigitalTrends (Their own sources)
VR-world

HWBattle claim $649 is international MSRP. Plus what 69FireBird says, the other 980 and 970 price is legit as well from that list

4 different sources saying $649. Seems like a safe bet to me 🙂

Looking good. The real meat is in the overclock. I want to see how this stacks up with Titan X OC to OC.
