When are these things going to hit the market? I thought it was going to be today.
If you're interested in eVGA, they're available direct from their website today.

I don't see any at Newegg, TigerDirect has the MSI...

Edit - NCIX US has a ton, but their search function sucks.

Hmm... Looks like a very good upgrade over my GTX 460. No need for me to upgrade during the summer, not on the computer much. But I may see where prices fall come early winter.
The best case scenario is always going to be that the entire 192bit bus is in use by interleaving a memory operation across all 3 controllers, giving the card 144GB/sec of memory bandwidth (192bit * 6GHz / 8). But that can only be done at up to 1.5GB of memory; the final 512MB of memory is attached to a single memory controller. This invokes the worst case scenario, where only 1 64-bit memory controller is in use and thereby reducing memory bandwidth to a much more modest 48GB/sec.
This trick has been used by review sites (not just this one) for a long time it's nothing new. Disingenuous yes I agree. From anand's review I expected the non reference 660ti cards should have been benched against the non reference Gigabyte, Msi, and Xfx 7950's,.. not the default clocked non reference. Those cards are all available and perform better than the 7950B. I thought the inclusion of the defualt reference 7950 w/o note of same/similar priced non reference 7950 parts was disingenious given the market conditions for these card.
HardOCP claims that the GALAXY 3GB is just about as fast as the 670. Interesting.
I was going to buy the 680, but the 670 is just as good for $100 less. So now I'm looking the 660. I'm thinking 660s in SLI may be awesome. Going to wait for some more reviews.
That or I just buy the 690 and DGAF.
Decent card but only if it is cheaper than the 7950. At the same price (which the 7950 has got down to several times), I would rather get the 7950.
Kudos to nVidia to making efficient cards. Thumbs down for neutering overclocking though.
This is a fair and reasonable assessment. It's better than the hd7870, not as good as the hd7950, and forbthe most part is priced that way. If Borderlands 2 comes with it (from what a few in this thread have alluded to) and if someone is looking to upgrade to a card in this segment, then it's a good deal whether you keep your copy of BL2 or sell it for $30-40.
