Speaking of Road to Hill 30, I saw on the box that it wont work for GeForce 4 MX cards. :( That means both my rigs cant play it (MX420 and MX440) CRAP!!!. Lol, I suppose it would have looked ugly as sin anyways. It's hard enough getting Call of Duty to work lol. I'd upgrade, but im waiting till I get a new computer so I can get PCI-E. 2-3 more years to go lol ;)

Same here... I've been getting a crash, and consequently a VPU recovery screen, every 15 minutes or so.

ditto. :(

I got that same VPU thing. I let the ATI program send an email to their HQ, so they know this prob should be fixxed ASAP!!!

got it for the pc yesterday. And I'm having a blast playing it. I'm fairly far into the game and I haven't come across any fatal bugs, runs fine on my ti4400 at 800x600x32 AA2 texturedetail=low widescreen=on, A64 3000+, SBLive, 2005fpw.

There's more to games than graphics guys!

btw using the mouse to aim the guns feels so cheap, head shots are so easy :D

This thread is 12 pages? DAMN. heh. (I use the 500 posts/page format)

This game rocks. I have not had this much fun with a game since GTA3. No bugs for me. Looks like crap but everything else is top notch. Loaded my radio with a ton of old school hip-hop and having a ball. This is really the best game this year (or last I guess). The production is top notch.

Sounds to me like I should be fine (6800GT in my main rig, 6800Go on my lappy) I might pick it up at BB today using the old $5 gamer's gift card trick thing (you know, where you get like a 1Cent gift card, and it has a 5 dollar off coupon inside it :))

I got it 2 days ago, IMO it's the best game ever - played 20 hours straight!

I've everything maxed out except AA (on 2) and had absolutely no stuttering, artefacts or crashes.

I used a cordless Logitech gamepad. The game is much easier if you use a gamepad.

THe other day, I got mad at some driver while my dad was in the car. I just unexpectedly yelled, "DAMN BLTCH LEARN HOW TO DRIVE!!!"

My dad was shocked. :)

I took this screenshot less than 1 minute of entering the game... it's not aimed or showing anything in particular, just that it doesn't look near as bad as some of the screens in this thread... My Screenshot

GTA3 was an awful port. My 9800pro can barely handle it in 800x600 - keep in mind this game was designed for a ps2, which is roughly as old as the pyramids in Egypt. I'm not

...what the heck? My geforce2 pro ran that game just fine :p

though on second thought, the other ppl posting no problems w/gta3 were also running nvidia...

GTA3 was horrible until I turned light trails off. With light trails off it ran fine on my GF2MX at low res and ran great on my Ti4200 after that.

I am so hooked on this game now. Passed on the real world sxe last night just to play

yea its funny, i had problems with BF2 Demo but this game runs great and i love it. Man u can never have em all work good for ya huh?

Oh yea to the op, jus cause it sucks on your 9600 pro doesnt mean u should state that it sucks as fact and deter others who have better systems the fun of playing this game. Do your research! This game works for some and not for others. What you could say is.... this game seems to work for more people than BF2 does. But I have heard good and bad things from both games.

Some of you guys are nuthead gameophiles.

I hear the same crap from audiophiles complaining about CDs.

Stop all the b!tching. If it's crap to you, don't buy it, don't play it.
