and then the last mission.

I cant seem to start turf wars. Im getting wtfpwned by randoms, cant find enough opposing gang members to kill and coppers still insist on trying to arrest me.

Find 3 or 4 rival gang members hanging out and kill them all, that should start the turf war. Close to the first save point, there are some grenades, those help, so grab them beforehand.

Well yeah but it hasnt started one off yet.

Sometimes it's frustrating to start them, just gotta keep killing gangsters. The worst ones are those tiny little areas where no gangsters seem to hang out.

Another thing to do is watch for the typical gangster cars (Hermes for Vagos, Tahoma for Ballas) and kill the driver and passenger. I've had that start wars several times.

Yeah, its a pain at times.

Its funny, the missions I had problems with on the PS2 version (like the Zero RC plane mission, which I still didnt finish) I breezed through on the PC version! Now I have more missions to do! I solved my video issues by letting the ATI VPU recovery stay on but not log the error. So when I get a vid crash it recovers in about 5 seconds and then the game continues were it left of. The sound and vid cutscenes out of synch still exists but the game is still very playable.

Four tries so far with jizzy's grab the packages from the FOUR motorcycle guys. I thought maybe if i stocked up on SMG ammo i could shoot them. Fine. It actually takes longer to do that than just nab the damn thing. Im stumped.

just drive close to them and usually it's fairly simple. Or try to intcept them at an intersection or something.

Took me 1 try and it was so easy.

All I did was drive hard and fast, high bike skill always helps. I put my handbrake on right mouse, fire gun on the left mouse so stopping and firing are no problem.

This was going to be a post about something hard, but I just found an easy way to beat the Vigilante missions.

I was having a helluva time beating the vigilante missions. For whatever reason, I couldn't seem to get past more than a few levels. That all changed after I got all gold medals at the airport school. All gold medals replaces that crappy beast of a helicopter with the Hunter, the attack chopper. That thing will let you do Vigilante missions. Once I hopped in that bad boy, I got up to level 75 in Vigilante, and was making almost $250K per level. In total, I made over $5M. Now I won't feel bad spending $50K when stocking up on Desert Eagle ammo. :D

haha agreeed but... after beating it twice, im hooked and have played it 20x inna row tryin to acquire 3minutes... it is so addicting yet makes me wanna grab a sniper rifle and head over to the dev team. One time i swung camera angle behind me and saw 6 cars all going for just ME and I was heading AWAY from the checkpoint.

tips: stop and go fakes them out a lot. dont keep finger on the gas... less likely to spin out, stay away from everyone and snag checkpoints when its convemnient for you.. i

most important, stay off the gas, and jus use it when a checkpoint is in sight...

edit: rc plane missions became much easier after i found out the rudders are q & e. and not the arrows or a & d. finished with half a tank left...

Ouch, you musta been bored. I used the Rhino to get all the levels i needed on vigilante.

Buy desert eagle ammo? Where from? after what mission? I cant remember seeing DE's available for purchase.

Im stuck trying to do the firetruck missions atm for the Fireproofing.

Yeah, I was a little bored. :) It was fun though. What's the Rhino?

You can buy the Desert Eagle at AmmuNation, but it only comes with 20 round or so, so I usually buy a dozen or more. That adds up in a hurry.

I got past the firetruck mission pretty easily, the ambulance and pimping were easy as well. I haven't done the cabbie yet, because I get bored of driving around looking for that first fare.

The Rhino is the Tank. Seriously powerful and ANY normal car is instantly destroyed if it rams into you or you ram into it.

Where do you find it? Is it just sitting somewhere or does it need to be stolen at wanted level 6?

you can also start the helihell flying race and fly it back to the LV airport, then get out and let timer go, then you can fly it back to your airport hanger and keep it in there

They're also quite easy if you do them in Los Quebrados (I think that's what it's called) the town in the NW corner of Las Venturas.

Just watch out for the 5-star wanted level you get instantly. My favourite trick that I do, used to do it in GTA3, is the find a nice long street, point my Rhino's turret in the opposite direction and fire constantly.

You will make the biggest and baddest vehicle in the game make an Infernus look slow :p

Man, I've been hunting for a Euros and a Mesa for a while now and haven't seen any. Like XNice said, they only spawn on certain days, but things only spawn in certain areas too. For isntance you can always count on plenty of Ranchers in the desert, but you're not going to see Slamvans out there.
