I just finished the "just business" mission which was easy...but I can't find a new mission. Anyone know what mission comes after the "just business" mission? FYI, the "just business" mission is the one with big smoke and you use your SMG against the Russians while your on the back of a street bike.

Can't quite remember what comes after that. Maybe the OG Loc missions? Or something from Tenpenny? Either way, check the west end of town.

I hated the RC missions, I hated the driving school, I hated having to listen to OH Gee 'NOT AGAIN!!' Loc.....

but I HATE the Airplane school. I cant do the 'circle airfield' one. Not even a bronze.

I came in 30 mins ago, fired up GTA:SA and flew straight and done most of the mission.

Im stuck on the 'shoot the targets' one with my Jellyhopter. Can never seem to hit the first truck.

For the first set of trucks, you're lined up perfectly for hitting them right away, don't move left or right and you should be able to hit them pretty easily.

For the second set, use the helis rockets instead of the minigun. Those seem to be a little easier for hitting moving targets with their splash damage. They fire pretty quickly, so aim in the general direction and let loose with about a half a dozen rockets.

I can't do the car-bouncing contest mission; I hit the proper keys at the proper times, and it keeps telling me my timing is off... maybe it's a munute delay introduced by my wireless kb... odd though that it's only present in this game, which btw happens to be a bugfest.....

I noticed the bouncing is off a bit but saying that, Im using the wireless keyboard I got with my Logitech Mx700 and its easy.

I configged my buttons into 2 groups: F + G for left/right and keypad 4 + 1 for up/down. Got it right away after reconfigging.

Theres a dance mission later like that but its easier tbh. I barely won the bounce-ff.

I had to do the bouncing mission 3 times before I passed with a wired keyboard. You have to do the same thing later in a "dance off".

No problem.

The problem I had with the WASD kind of config was that 1 hand couldnt co-ordinate it all properly, especially with all 4 keys in such close proximity. What my keyboard config above did was split the load evenly between each hand and removed any latency I had with respect to getting my fingers tied in a knot.

Personally, I havent been able to tell whether im hitting the right timing or not. Every time I think I figure it out, I end up messing up.

EDIT: Let us know how you got on.

oh, regarding keyboard configs, for the first driving lesson you have to do a 360, which requires to hold down W, S and A/D at the same time. My keyboard won't allow it, for some reason, whether its plugged into USB or PS2. A friend of mine tried it on his comp with his keyboard, and it works just fine, but only W,S and D, not W,S and A. I plugged his keyboard into my comp ( we exactly the same mobo and drivers ) and it doesn't work on mine :( Mobo is msi k7n2 delta-ilsr

I'm getting better lol, I may simply be too old and have lost the pinpoint timing of the young :p But I swear I hit it perfect every time, and yet I get everything from "Good" to "Bad" to "Missed" At any rate, I figure I'll eventually get lucky and the competitor will get a low score.

Turn the "steer with mouse" option on. You'll be able to complete it in <5 seconds using the mouse.

I also had trouble with this mission. I found that I had a tendency to "lead" the arrows. My results were much better when I forced myself to wait until the arrows were completely in the circle before pressing the keys.

Good call, that's exactly what I was doing. Ended up beating it easily, thanks.

Oh, I found 3 keys that worked when pressed at the same time, and set config to those, but that doesn't really solve my problem? Maybe i should ask this question in "tech support"?

new hardest mission in the game for me

when you go back to the original town,

jump out of an airplane and land on the house - easy
kill bad guys on the roof - rather easy
kill the bad guys inside - medium
drive in the worst handling car in the game on the worst roads ever aaaand drive another car off the road - impossible

have an smg along for the ride and get a few shots in now and then
it'll help damage the car so it blows up as he hits everything else

if at any time he gets pinned, just jump outta your car and unload asap

I just started GTA: SA and it's awesome. I just finished Big Smoke's train mission. Took me about 5 tries as well. I haven't done any of Caesar's missions yet. Do I need to do those and do I need to get a car that hops for them? I blew mine up that I was given.

Oh and also, I hear there are a lot of things besides missions you can do. So far the only things I've found are taxi cabs, vigilante missions and spray painting. I've only done a couple fares and spray painted 10 tags. What are the other non-mission things you can do?

there's about 40+ hours of gameplay so there's ins and outs
basketball, horseshoe collections, girlfriends, snapshots, schools, car smuggling, racing, and just your general mayhem :)
