I know... another GTA:SA thread.

Anyways, have you come across any missions that are relatively hard, or at least take some effort. Enough to make you actually feel relieved after completion? An odd feeling of accomplishment?

What would you say the hardest mission or missions for you were in this game?

EDIT: And I mean any "mission" including races, collection, etc... not just storyline based.
 
Im having trouble with Big Smokes mission to kill the guys on the train whilst driving the motorbike. Any single person alive could shoot straighter than he does.
 
I guess for me it was always things I overlooked that made missions harder than they normally would be. For example, on bikes (BMX challenge) and motorcycles (NRG-500 challenge) I forgot about the lean keys to lean forward and backward... which make the missions much easier. Also, while flying a plane in flying school, I forgot to retract my landing gear on the Circling test, kept wondering how I was supposed to gain that much altitude to get to the first corona. 😛 After I realized these oversights, the missions became pretty easy.

Races are another thing... some races I tend to work myself up and keep on the accelerator - this makes the missions harder than they should be. Most of my racing wins come from being steady and easy-going, sometimes using the PIT manuever (although the other racers tend to wipe themselves out enough). Worst thing you can do in a race is go so fast and have a dumb driver change lanes in front of you, or fly off a cliff. 😉

Same here. I got it on my 4th try though. But that was the hardest I've done so far. Right now, I am just taking over other gangs' turf.

I had problems with this one at first too. The key is to use the freelook function to swing the camera around to the side of your bike and line yourself up with each guy. If you are in front of or in back of the guy smoke is trying to shoot at it takes longer for him to make the kill. Once you get yourself lined up you can kill all 4(?) guys before you even reach the countryside. Give it a try.

you have to be as far RIGHT as possible otherwise BS is not able to shoot the guys on the train - instead he is only able to hit the train.
 
One of the San Fierro races where you go through the country had me laughing and mad at the same time. What happened was a motorcycle rammed into me, and the guy flew on top of my car. So I'm driving, trying to stay in first, and the guy pulls out a shovel and starts whcking my hood. I'm like WTF knowing he's trying to destroy my already badly damaged car, so I slam on the brakes and he flies off just as my car starts on fire.

That was a funny experience but obviously I failed the race. 😉
 
the hardest mission so far was actually the first one, runing away from a car full of people with guns shooting at you... and you.. only on a bicycle with no weapons

all the missions are hard for me to complete. I get side tracked, beat up a cop or gang member and BOOM I get chases down and end up dying every time.

I loose interest quick in the game, and it doesn't help you gotta wait till the end of a mission AND return home to save.

I did beat the first 2 missions. But I think that's the most I'll do 🙂
 
the hardest? thats easy... on the PC if you open the hidden girlfirend sex missions..
not joking at all.. rockstar had initially put in sex game mini missions for all the girlfriends..
the code is still in the PC and its FVCKING hard...

 
I can't beat the Robbing Uncle Sam mission. Ryder keeps getting killed while I'm loading the truck.

The OG Loc mission (the one where you have to chase the guy on the motorcycle) was brutal until I realized I could skip following him turn for turn and instead get ahead of him and avoid the jumps, etc.

when he gets attacked run out and quickly kill all the baddies then get back to the job of loading the crates
 
I always have trouble w/ any race missions but always get them after a couple of runs. It's just a matter of learning the route and getting the turns down.
 
Getting Gold on the last driver school mission. Under 1:40 and NO damage to go a looong way through San Fiero... freakin hard. I'm still working on it.
 
the damn dance missions b/c the keyboard lags or something.. they keys don't respond when pressed quickly in succession

Really? I don't seem to get that problem, I always get perfect or near perfect every time I do that.

Are you using the right keys? It depends on your bindings, but mine were set to the numpad arrows.
 
I am using ESDF but I will try arrow keys

I found a new B1tch of a mission
The ammunation shooting range... I can do all the weapons just fine, gettin most of my targets done b4 they even get their 2nd EXCEPT for the last shottie one... suddenly they are all sharp shooters !
And then you have to do all three weapons and all 3 times again ARGH!!

yeah that mission was pissing me off. i figured out to get off the fork truck quickly and help out ol' ryder but then i load the truck and head off and the damn guard and cops kept chasing me and wiped me out. i was too tired and just quit for the nite.

i pretty much suck at missions but i should get that one done tonight anyway.
