stu jackson, the crapiest gm in nba history........:frown:
No, that title belongs to Scott Layden - so many big contracts, so crappy a choice of players.
which team did he work for?
who did he sign?
i am guess is the wizards or portland
New York Knicks for the last 4 years.
Traded Glen Rice for Howard Eisley and Shandon Anderson, both signed through 2007.
Paying Eisley 5.8, 6.3, 6.9, and 7.4 million dollars for the next 4 years respectively, although they can get out of the last year of the contract.
Paying Anderson 6.7, 7.3, 7.9, and 8.5 million dollars for the next 4 years.
Acquired Travis Knight in the Ewing trade - making 4.4 million next year.
Gave Allen Houston a contract that pays 15.9, 17.5, 19.1, and 20.7 million dollars for the next 4 years
For reference, this is the 10th largest contract in the NBA, and only two of the ones higher go past next season (Shaq and Mutumbo).
Basically, he's pushed the Knicks into the second highest payroll in the league (after Portland) and given them a team which only has 3-4 movable players because everyone else is so overpaid for so long.
