For me, gas since it is more convenient. I bought this grill earlier in the year for $188, and it's been gret.

But, I do love the taste of a quality piece of meat cooked over charcoals!

i am not skilled in the charcoal grilling :( But gas for convenience... I mean, pop out there in the middle of winter and grill up a few burgers and pop back inside. Ok, my friend does that... since his grill is under his deck.. we'd grill salmon, burgers, steaks... and his backyard would be white :p

As an idiot, I found your slander rather tasteless. Just like the flavor you'd get by grilling a decent piece of mean over hot chemical fumes emanating from a charcoal briquette.

Ever read the product label on a bag of briquettes? Bleech.


Gas grill for even heat and temperature control. The grill must have an ash bin or plate contraption for the use of wood chips to give a smoldering smoky flavor.
