"Gray" is more common in the US while "Grey" is more common in many other English-speaking countries.

I've seen this color spelled both ways. What do you use?

Is your first name Bernie?

Nope, but that was an interesting link. Just another Americanized spelling for something that didn't need to be changed :p

Gray in the USA.

Those brits call it grey. Heck even Firefox knows it is supposed to be gray, not grey, it just underlined it in red

I still haven't made up my mind and often wondered. I'll read this thread and find out something, I guess.

I prefer disk to disc though, even though I see disc everywhere. Is it just me?

I said grey, but I don't know. I use whichever comes to mind first. I trip over "meter" and "metre", as well as "centre/center" all the time too.

Disc is for round ones like CDs DVDs etc... disk more for floppies and hard drives. At least, that's how I always thought of it <shrug>

I keep wanting to type it grey, but then when I look at it it seems wrong. If it doesn't matter so far as technical correctness I'm ok with either.

"Disk" is for all computer drives and media EXCEPT optical media/drives.

My motorcycle is Candy Plasma Blue. Don't you dare call it "Blue" or "Candy Thunder Blue." ;)
