Greatest TV series

Cogman

Lifer
List 'em here.

For me the top three have to be

Quantum Leap
Stargate SG-1
and Star Trek-TNG

Other greats include
The Pretender
Lois and Clark - The Adventures of Superman
Highlander
Malcom in the middle
Monk
House
Psych (Ok, I know people don't like these three, but I do)
Chuck
The old batman and robin (I don't know the series name, but the one with the *POW* and *BANG* whenever there was fighting instead of actual fighting)
etc.

List your favorites (or berate my TV tastes).

Boy, I have not watched a single episode of like 95% of the ones you listed OP.

Quantum Leap is awesome though.

I know this is all opinion and everything... but that.... THAT is your list of greatest TV shows ever? Oh lord.

I have seen at least 1 episode of 3 of them:
Quantum Leap
Malcolm in the Middle
Batman and Robin

I literally have never watched, not wanted to watch any of the others. At all.

Fixed.

Once Trapper, Burns and Blake left, that show took a serious nosedive.

KT

"I have a message. Lieutenant Colonel... Henry Blake's plane... was shot down... over the Sea of Japan. It spun in. There were no survivors." One of the worst moments in TV history.

Fixed your post for you too.
Once Honeycut, Potter and Winchester were in full swing, the show blew.

Edit: I will also add to the trifecta of crap above, when Radar left and we were stuck with Max Klinger. Ugh. I get it. You're wearing dresses!

Agreed and good catch. That was more what I was getting at; show really hit the crapper aorund then.

😛 Post yours. I didn't say everyone HAS to love what I love.

Seinfeld
Simpsons
All in the Family
Taxi
Lost (yes Lost)
The Cosby Show
Late Night w/ David Letterman (the early years (think "The Man Under the Stairs"))
Deadwood
Rome

I would like to include Band of Brothers, but I don't want to include miniseries-esque type things.

I'm sure there more that I am just missing off the top of my head.

My list (in random order):

I Love Lucy
Simpsons
Friends
Dexter
that show where that little colored boy broke everything
Modern Family
Muppet Babies (they make their dreams come true)

I kid as far as "Greatest", as the OP asked for, but it sure was fun as a child watching that kid wreak havoc on that family.
