Mother Love Bone

Had Andrew Wood not died, they would have been bigger than Nirvana and there would never have been a Pearl Jam.

Temple of the Dog was a collaboration between Chris Cornell, the former roomate of Andrew and band mates Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament as a tribute to Andrew.

There were 2 brothers in Los Angeles area that did some really odd hard rock back in the 70's to 80's. Kinda like Danny Elfman style.

I'll have to go searching . . .

I've heard there name plenty of times. I'm 18 and I haven't only heard it from crap like Guitar Hero and TV. I've heard of them because I like older bands a lot. I like some Zeppelin, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Cream, Rush. Stuff like that rocks.

I think just about everyone knows The Reaper. There's no way this band is an unknown or unsuccessful band.

Are you thinking of Oingo Boingo? The band was made up of Richard Elfman and Danny Elfman = two brothers.

BOC and UFO were very successful. Not Queen, Pink Floyd or Led Zepplin successful but successful none the less

No it was 'Sparks' - about the same era in time.

The Hooters. Yeah yeah they're from Philly, but I don't think they're appreciated much cross-country. Could be wrong.

Savatage. Edge of Thorns gave them a little bit of radio play, but when Criss Oliva died right after their sales plunged. At least they got some recognition later on in the form of Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Do you visit the PRP much?

I think Taproot might have something good with the new cd based off the first single. But nothing will ever top Gift.
