See if you can get a decent Core 2 Quad cheap off eBay. It's not really worth upgrading your GPU without boosting the CPU too. That motherboard looks like it should be a decent overclocker, so you should be able to get a quad core to over 3GHz pretty easily.

You've still got the basis for a decent system- put in a bit more memory, a 64-bit OS, an overclocked C2Q and that 7850, and you'll have a solid system to last you several more years. But just upgrading the GPU isn't going to cut it!

This is my thoughts for the most part, but depends on the games you play. You would definitely want the new win 7 or 8 64 bit OS, but may be able to get buy with the dual core, depending on games of course.

If a Q6600 or better is available cheap on eBay though, it might be worth it, depending on price and games.
